What kind of disgusting comment is that????!!!!!
Thanks! Yeah, it seems her tone is pointed towards me.

My reaction to her, indefinitely.

I don't think that this is an issue of "people wanting to see girls in skimpy/non-existant uniforms." I think some people take offense to these type of uniforms and other people do not. But I sure hope that no one on this board is sitting at home like, "oh boy, I sure hope this uniform is nude mesh!"

In my opinion, uniforms should not generate ideas/comments that would move this thread to 18+. Nudity and cheer uniforms do not belong in the same category. It's sad that gyms are creating uniforms that allow for this.

Gurl bye. Did you not just see my chanel no.1 post ? You're barking up the wrong tree. LOTS of teams have nude mesh btw, I just don't know why people are loosing their cookies over a picture that's blurred.

There's a difference between using nude mesh on an arm cut out and having your uniform appear completely backless.

This is my best friends gym, so I'm not really sure how the uniform works. But the younger girls are very happy with their uniforms.
Just because the kids are happy with the uniforms (and not just these uniforms with the nude mesh although I am holding off on forming an opinion until I see more than a blurred photo - this applies to any uniform) it doesn't mean I as an adult (and parent) have to give them the thumbs up and say "oh well, as long as YOU like them it shouldn't matter that I think you look like a stripper or your gym's uniform selection are veering this sport onto a path I don't want it to take". It has nothing to do with me paying for it; it has to do with how I would like my child and the sport she loves to be perceived.

Agreed. The crazier the uniform, the more my CP would probably like it. She would probably also like a sky high pouf and a million curls or a $300 hairpiece. I prefer her to look like she's doing a sport.

Fair enough and his hair is amazing! It is concerning to me when people are like yay I can't wait to see a mesh uniform. Can't we just have normal hs or college uniforms? Better yet, switch to the volleyball type unis they use in STUNT
I'm in the minority that likes some sparkle and fun designs. While I think stunt unis look great for what their doing, and collegiate/HS uniforms are perfect for that, I like that all star has a little bit more to them. I don't, however, like this trend of "how many rhinestones can we fit on one uniform" and "what should we cover with mesh instead of fabric today?". The CA junior uniform is a perfect example of how both can be used tastefully, ironically it was made by the same company that is giving us nude backs.

I like that all-star is different. Do I think it needs to be toned down? Yes. But not to stunt unis.

I know this uniform has been posted but Cheer Media posted this picture of the UCF unis and I just can't with them. They look like a cheap dress I bought my freshman year of college to go out to the bars in.

As someone that used to cheer for UCF, I will say I would not be comfortable wearing this uniform...However, this is for junior and under teams so it does look much better on them than it would on a more developed girl...

Here is the senior team version

And the tiny team has a different version of the 'dress' uni

Again, not trying to justify the uniform at all, just trying to shed some different light on them....

Oh, and all girls were provided with a custom sports bra to go under the uniform too.
