Sadly I have to agree with being disappointed with Tsunami. They were extremely sloppy, no one seemed excited, not much tumbling, timing was off, jumps were just...... etc. I know its still November and they have time to improve but from all the hype I expected to at least see more potential =/ and this is coming from someone who loveddddd tsunami last year......JMO
ETA: Hopefully they can change my opinion in the months to come:)

I said this in the other thread, but they looked utterly confused. The dance was probably their strong point in the routine. I never jumped on the Tsunami bandwagon. Yes they were good and I was so inspired in their story of having to perform 4 times, but that was it. They were hyped up so much for no reason at all.

I see they changed the handspring tuck part to make it legal as everyone was saying.. also, Maddie is back in center of pyramid because Gabbie is back. Standing looked more organized today.

Stunt changes looked good, looks like we're at 8 up right now.

Thanks for the shout outs. Maybe Jay will post a video. On the info side, the routine is evolving and there will be changes ongoing. I think the first 30 seconds is going to have to be a knockout, and I hope what we do best will be on display from the very first. I do believe the opening sets a tone that carries the rest of the routine, but I think the key is to follow up with momentum and energy along with skill . We may get there yet. And to have a chance, they have to continue to improve every week. What you see here are components, hence the format. I would not bet right now how the routine will look in 3 weeks. Most of this was done this week. Don't forget about your ladies in teal, they are still here and working hard.

I know better then to count out the ladies in Teal, never count out the X.
They accomplished a lot of revisions and finer tuning in a weeks time.

It seems like Senior Elite always had this stunt in their back pocket just in case. That was the stunt that was taped and released prior to the showcase, and it appeared to be hitting like that. Oddly enough.. I like that second stunt better like that.. I was given the chills that I had when I first heard their music, and I actually loved it, of course if all groups were doing it.. didn't really like the 180 into it, just allows for them to easily get out of synchronization.
All-in-all, Senior Elite is def looking more like Senior Elite to me. I didn't feel their normal vibe with their showcase video and the competition the following weekend, but it's definitely starting to come together!

I think you have to watch in practice to get a feel. Come down if you have the time, I'll buy you lunch. It is definitely different than I have ever seen in my 12 years there with this team. I would not bet money on anything to do with this team right now and that includes the routine, members and numbers. But I appreciate your honest opinion.
