I saw a post a while back about successful fundraisers and I can't find it now. Our team has tried multiple things this year and hasn't had much success with anything. What are some things you have done that worked well or didn't work so well? It's frustrating with the amount of time and effort and money is more than you actually make.

The easiest way I've seen to make big money for a team is through booster clubs running concessions stands at concerts/athletic events. I've never personally participated in another fundraiser that's made big money. I hear auction dinners can be successful, but I'm sure they take a lot of time and initial investment.

The best for us has been our CP canning in front of a Ice Cream place in the summer .. or even a Dunkin Donuts.

If u want a gym one. We have a clothing drive. They bring a truck and weigh it and give us $ per Lb. Usually a couple of $100. U don't have to do much except arrange a day and let people know.

Pop can drive. Unless you live in a state that doesn't have a deposit on your pop/beer cans & bottles. Kids go door to door with trash bags. Usually we try to hit large subdivisions right after a holiday weekend. We've made anywhere from $100 to just over $1000. It depends on the neighborhood & the number of kids. We try to pick Neighborhoods with lots of houses in close proximity.
