Reviews (from audience members) from the Chicago production of Hamilton are slowly coming in... And I am so tempted to get a ticket for March. Especially after hearing some audio clips of the cast.
I need some self control.

The only control you need is one of those tickets in your hand. [emoji23]

Criminal Minds this week had a throw to Eliza and Angelica and it made me so giddy I felt ridiculous for getting excited over it.

Buy those tickets!

So Hurricane Matthew is hovering in the Category 5 (low side) Category 4 (high side) area and while I'm fully equipped to go through storms, DH leaves in the morning for 2 weeks...perfect timing! Ugh.

Here's to hoping I won't need to evacuate next week, but send some thoughts to our island neighbors to our south who are going to get the brunt of this storm. It's a massive storm and the destruction is going to be incredibly large.

YES! SAME! Why is it always from the clearance section???

like I seriously don't understand especially where I work because we have friggin coupons out the arse that we literally hand out in booklets and you can use them on EVERYTHING, even clearance. Like seriously we give our stuff away with all these coupons. But people still steal. I don't get how people sleep at night.

Probably with stolen sleeping pills.

Edited for spelling error.

Man, if I had a dollar for every time someone stole something from where I work I'd be rich.
The people could be stealing it because they like the adrenaline rush, or because they wanna sell the stuff on eBay....

Someone stole one of our iMac computers the other week at work. The computer itself pails in comparison to the thousands of dollars of design programs it has loaded on it. You can bet that I've been keeping my eye on craigslist for it.

ETA: It also has hundreds of design projects on it that all contain varying levels of confidential information. So that's cool.

....how do you steal an imac? those things are gigantic.

Your place isn't secure so anyone can basically walk in?

You need a badge to get into the building but it's not Fort Knox lol. Logic says someone who works there atleast assisted in the theft. It was most likely a planned thing, not a thing done on a whim. Like gofriars said, an iMac is a pretty large computer and you can't just carry it out without anyone noticing.

We reported it but there's nothing at this point we can do. There's no video cameras in the area that we know of and no way to track the iMac. The bright side is that out of all the iMacs they couldve taken, they took the oldest and most problematic one. Jokes on them I guess lol.

starting to think about what im going to be doing for halloween, and i really have my heart set on doing a vampire or zombie nurse of some form. Heres my question though.

I really wanted to do colored contacts, but i want to do it as safely as possible. Anyone have any advice or done colored contacts for halloween purposes?

Hate to think someone in your own company would do that but totally makes sense given the security badge requirement and size of the computer.

I wore a pair a couple of years ago for halloween. I don't wear them normally so it took a bit of practice to put them in! The place I got them from was a fancy dress shop so the girl who sold them was very helpful and explained the risks and went through the user guide. I also had to sign a waiver but I don't know if that was specific to that shop. The decent ones come with a user guide with a lot of warnings like no driving with them on (they do impair your vision slightly)
I wore them whilst drinking at a house party but I don't think I would have worn them into a night club because of the difficulty of seeing!
I don't know how helpful that is...but it was definitely fun trying a different look for the night!
