Exactly this. I think we’ll see a lot of low energy, lackluster “hits” this season. Perhaps it is better to use your first and only run through with a small deduction but a solid, engaging performance.
I absolutely agree with you on this. You may put the same routine on the floor on day two, but your technique could be completely different day to day.
I remember as a team mom I sent out detailed and brief instructions about where to be and when for competition. One parent in particular would text me and ask "just give me the details. I don't want to read through all that". Basically saying that my time isn't as valuable as theirs. So rude!

I think that's who she's talking about - I felt terrible for them, especially after noticing one of the girls injured her foot near the beginning of the routine.
