    All-Star [12/7] Csg Holiday Classic

This is a Nation's Choice Event, not CSG, but there are about 260 teams attending & hopefully a schedule will be released on Monday!

    T-jump

The rule states that a jump SKILL cannot be connected to a BHS. A straight jump is not a jump SKILL.

    All-Star Worlds 2013 Spectator ?

I certainly can't answer all the questions on here, but hopefully this little tidbit helps. I do know that once the venue is full, they plan to escort people into VIP standing, much like last year. However, since they know it's likely to be the case again, they can actually plan for it and...

    All-Star Asc - Oklahoma City: 1/26-1/27

It was that way for several years and that's when teams that finished 26th were getting bids by the end of the season...that was the compromise to keep Worlds exclusive but attainable to the teams that should be there and eliminate some of the overcrowding, although there is still room to go on...

    All-Star Asc - Oklahoma City: 1/26-1/27

Money will always be passed down, at Larges disappear after 72 hours.

    Level 2 Inversion

It can be legal, but looks illegal how it's executed in the video. If the flyer is picked up off the ground, then becomes inverted...illegal. If she actually rolls and is inverted when she leaves the ground, and immediately goes to non-inverted...legal. My smart aleck response was going to be...

    L3 Dismount Query

A dismount is to a cradle or to the performance surface, and this is neither.

    All-Star Rostering Question

USASF has no restrictions over an athlete being on an All Star team and a recreation team. They do restrict that an athlete can't compete with 2 different programs at the same event on an All Star and/or All Star Prep teams. They can not also compete on an All Star & an All Star Prep team at...

    What Is Platform?

It is a one leg extended stunt but with the flyers ankles together & no body position...probably most often called a dangle or lazy leg. The only place I remember it mentioned in the rules is in relation to Level 4 teams having to perform full ups to a 2 foot stunt and is the exception. Does...

High School - Prep Level To Prone

Depending on the height of the toss & the number of catchers, it the fall to prone can be legal at 1. As shown in the video, level 2. The forward roll out is 3.
  11. C

    L3 Dismount Query

It would be illegal. Releases at level 3 must start below prep level, however they can land prone.

    All-Star Competition Order Affecting Scores?

Judges are often instructed to judge based off of all things Cheerleading and not just who is at that event that day. So they may be judging a team based on Superstar All Stars because they are always an almost perfect execution, even if Superstar All Stars isn't there. Somedays no one will...

The Spring Open 2013 - Paris Disneyland

    All-Star Competitions With Individuals?

All CSG & Nation's Choice offers them.

    All-Star Worlds 2013 Spectator ?

If you buy them through USASF as part of the spectator package, I think they are included. A regular hopper through Disney will not get you into the cheer venues, but would get you into the dance venue in Epcot.

All-Star Spirit Of Texas And Top Gun Illegal Passes?

I really am not trying to argue, just curious...but all of these point back to the 1 same rule and same types of examples and your earlier posts referenced a lot of inconsistencies. Any outside of L5 standing?

    Oh Canada

Do you feel like it's unreasonable to ask for a variety of skills to max out? According to my math, a team of 20 performing 5 hitch kick doubles, 3 switch kick doubles and toe touch would guarantee a 10, right?
  18. C

    Oh Canada

Got it! The nice part is, that if ALL your groups are doing the rest of the skills, you don't need to do that as well to be at the highest start value.
  19. C

    Oh Canada

Why do you feel like you are required to do both? The 2 trick double just has a higher start value.
  20. C

    Oh Canada

A double down...when you read the score sheets, think the technical wording for them, not the most common example. Only listing the most common used example will often limit creativity and make all the skills look the same in routines.
