I agree with the above posts that there should be a place for Y5-especially for smaller kids who can learn to base with tiny flyers. Y5 was some of the best times my daughter had in cheer but the fact that there are only a few teams nationally was a drag. Your gym can either fly you all over...
There's also the danger to other people on the mat to consider. I wouldn't foresee much of a problem with a boot but last season there was a flyer in the air with a cast. If she came down wrong that could hurt her bases.
It looks great close up but I wonder how much of the detail will be visible on stage? I think that's the hardest thing about all of these uniforms. You've got to be bold to stand out on stage but sometimes bold is too much from up close. Overall I like the way these uniforms are trending.
I can't say specifically for Dallas, but I know that many municipal convention centers require proof that an event is bringing money into the area before they will book the center. And for an event like NCA which involves the entire convention center, there would need to be proof that it is a...
Our recent seasons have been at least 10-15k with 2-3 plane trips and 6 or 7 other comps, choreography, uniform hotels etc but I've had years that came to 20k+
How does this affect the summit/world's crossover limits? I believe the number of crossovers was raised this year to 8 from 5 but would a junior 5 team be able to compete and the ICU junior worlds and also the summit?
I've been told that only 6 girls compete with Blue squad. Never any taller than 5'4" and 115 lbs with a full, 2 to full and ability to do inverted partner stunts. It's the highest possible expectations....
Maybe if you phrase it more like thanks to the best stunt group ever. Rather than thanks for keeping me in the air (which could seem a little self serving)
I would call the USASF office in advance. They will have the answer for you. I wouldn't just wait and see because the people onsite have so much to do and little power to change things.
I find it very difficult to believe that a Senior 1 had a score higher than Senior 5 teams. Perhaps percentage of perfection but actual score? Not possible.
