I do this with my level 1 team's pyramid. There is a base in a knee lung and a standing backspot. The flyer gives foot to base and steps up into a prep level lib conected to a person on the floor. No deductions and usually helps with creativity since they are a very small team.

Ok so you totally just described my week as a coach. Except we were adding a new girl wich allowed us to add difficulty and needless to say they couldn't handle the changes. So after 2 hot mess practices I called an extra practice and changed a couple parts back. Hit thier stunts and also placed...
Usually I would just read the rules over and over until I figured it out but with my new job, I just don't have time.
Does anyone know if a shoulder stand is prep level? I'm trying to figure out if an unassisted shoulder stand is legal in level 2.
Thank you

I was at this comp and I don't remember all of thier teams but I do know the L5 did not perform. (It was the only registered L5 and my older kids were sad when they weren't there)

I can't get a picture until Thursday. I have 2 stomach level stunts that hitch onto a person standing on the floor. Then I only have enough bases (because my smallest 2 athletes litteraly go cry in the corner if I put them in a prep level stunt) to build 1 prep level lib and conect it to a...
So I was reading the new glossary to see if the grip my level 2 pyramid is using is legal and noticed the change in definition of a pyramid. My level 1 team's pyramid has 2 below prep stunts conected to a person on the floor and then a prep level lib conected to a person on the floor. With the...
Not really, we're a really small program out of a gymnastics gym. There is only one other team. A youth lv 1 all brand new to cheer. I have 1 or 2 I'm looking at asking to crossover but for these first few comps I think it would be to much stress for them to handle both teams (I want to see how...
I think I'm going to try assisted 2 man or base and back tomorrow. If that doesn't work then I will definitely go with the drop to knees at least for our Nov comps. Thanks for the ideas!
