just an FYI...the scoresheets for day 1 have several typos. the first column is tumbling, second is choreo and third is building. think about the scale...135 possible building points..it makes no sense that people are scoring below 100 lol. like hiiii.

maybe not for scoresheets like NCA, but for worlds, SE's building (stunts/pyramids/tosses) score will be higher because they score it on a muchhhh bigger scale and you technically cannot max out on the world's scoresheet.

I think everyone should stop hating on Erica's individuality on that second stunt. she wants to cause a scene in the middle of that sequence? let her. she is clearly the only flyer on ANY squad that is confident (and skilled) enough to pull of flipping her hair after a bomb 1.5up immediate...

AMEN. standing fulls really dont matter if you have 17 standing BHS series to DOUBLESSSSSSS...aka senior elite. :)

yeah...and they also have more doubles quantity-wise. a 3->dbl scores higher than a standing full because the ending skill is only 1 twist compared to 2 :) prime example- at worlds they took out their few standing fulls and replaced them with (5) 1->dbl ...made them have a higher tumbling score

all i have to say is...don't underestimate SE. i said it last yr..and i will continue to do so. all of the competitions leading up to worlds are prelims (except NCA and the Majors)..even when SE does not win those, they will find some way to rack up points at Worlds 2013 like always. regardless...

both teams are obviously VERY talented and neither of their first performances were perfect...HOWEVER, sr. elite has stepped up their tumbling A LOT especially in comparison to their previous showcases. and then their stunts and pyramid.......so long as they execute, they could very well max out...

they aren't ball up 360-ing...they are doing full/360 tosses like in the first sequence. there is nothing 'balled-up' about their body positions. the first stunt sequence is a RIGHT heel stretch full toss to immediate scale...NO BALL UPS. none.

agreed! i mean their dance was still obviously good because of the level changes, but the formations and transitions were nearly perfect i'm sure!

only 30/60 of the DANCE category points are rewarded for the dance. 20 is formations/transitions...10 is overall. so maybe the fact that senior elite had all athletes dancing and f5 had 3 stunts go up in the back while others were dancing had something to do with it. they score by the 'using max...

i think people need to realize this is one of the first years in a while that sr elite has thrown up 9 COMPLETE stunts for their elite sequence...they're likely to max out their difficulty score and unless they have execution mistakes/deductions...stars, panthers AND f5 will not outscore the...

Maddie D is not sharp enough although her body positions are quite possibly the most flexible. Gabie is an amazing technical flyer with good body positions, but she has no "wow" factor...wouldn't have her at point flyer. she is an awesome 'next to point' flyer lol. Erica is the obvious...
