Yes! I came out of a 4 year retirement and joined a L6NT this year at the ripe old age of 26. Getting my stretches back to an acceptable level might be a struggle though :help:
Wow I hope there’s another article when/if there are any updates (not holding my breath). I work full-time in sports regulation and have often thought that if these sorts of things were to happen in any other sport there would likely be legal challenges.
Seconded what @HeatUniqueJ says, Unity or AEC if you’re in London. Unity advertise their open gyms on their Instagram page (normally on alternating Fridays) and the AEC facility is called Talent Central, so you can get in touch with them through their Facebook page. They have open gyms on...
I’m doing the same! I’d recommend going to open gyms- then the muscles that hurt the next day are the ones you have to work the most on!
I find the Sweat app great for general fitness. The main BBG programme is really good, and it’s also got yoga-style workouts too.
Stretching wise I’ve...
I’m quite excited about NT, and I’ll give it a few years to develop, but I’m excited for the possibility of seeing more acro-style stunts (irrelevant, but one thing I’ve never got is why cheer insists on the flyer having their foot parallel to the ground in partner/acro style stunts).

Keep an eye out for Crimson Heat Tigers from the UK - they won LJ1 last year and are back with a J1 and S2. I think there are a few more UK teams competing in the International divisions (ICE, Zodiac, I think there might be one or two others). Looking forward to see how they all do!
Cheetahs score... is that the highest of the (extended) weekend? I know scores across divisions can’t be compared because the scoring is comparative, but still, 147.8 takes some doing!
BlueCat's Big Worlds spreadsheet in the first post is pretty helpful if you're looking for past years. For this year I think the best way would be to download a copy of the timetable/scores spreadsheet and filter it.
So my live stream decided to hang as Team England walked into the mat, and resumed as they were leaving...Does anyone have a video or a summary of how they did? I’m dying not knowing!
I'm curious as to everyone's thoughts on international expansion.
I know there is a FAME team in London, which I believe is part of FAME in the US (as the programme they took over often had coaches come over from the US gym), but I can't think of any others off the top of my head. I also don't...
