I'm in the UK, chuck TLC on the tv whilst i'm making my dinner, not really pay attention but I hear a certain twang I recognise... Kelly from CEA Raleigh's episode of Say Yes To The Dress.
Caught me off guard, interests colliding ha
Laney finished 13th, not the lowest, but the lowest of the athletes who did all 4 apparatus.
All athletes below her in score did not compete in 1+ apparatus.
I can't watch the stream because I'm not in US so can someone tell me if she had a bad day, or if she just isn't up to par just yet?
This is what I was kind of trying to say - I know they qualify but I don't see why teams like GBE would want to 'lower' themselves just to win when they have been very competitive in small sr.
personal choice of the gym though, I see both sides of the argument
[This Is not directed at you]
This is the part that's strange about it to me because yes GBE qualify for XS being their only worlds team but they are also a big power (? Can't think of a better phrase) in small sr???? They globed last year????
id be a bit unhappy if teams that typically qualify...
That's what I'm meaning; how are they still enrolled for that later 5th year if their degree course only takes 4? Do they all have to take an extra class to keep their enrolment at the university during that 5th year?
(I might just be confusing myself here)
Thanks all, makes sense
But another question then; if they are red shirted for 1/2 years do their studies stop too? If not, have they surely not completed their studies and wont be enrolled at the respective university canymore?
or will they just pick up a couple extra classes like mentioned...
I have a potentially silly question about collegiate gymnastics. I saw today on twitter that a gymnast from ucla was back for her 6th year. How do athletes continue for more years past what I assume their degree allows (4 years?).
Come to think of it, WLove from OSU did five years of cheer, so...
If someone wants my flocheer login to watch summit finals then feel free to PM me.
Been working all weekend and only thought that someone might want to use it now :defeated:
My course's dissertation grades were accidentally released last night a day early - round about the same time of large sr finals UK time.
As if my heart wasn't racing enough watching large senior :eek:
Agree for SE and for Coed Elite as well. Everything needs updated, SE especially used to be capable of a breath holding no blinking TGLC type performance and since 2015 its been - to quote yourself - dry toast.
Dry toast that's then been left out on the plate for another day.
And I love to...
