Yeah I second what the Notorious ScottyB said -- it takes a lot longer for a girl to learn elite tumbling than elite stunting.

It's not real common but happens occasionally - probably more so with guys, since often girls make the gymnastics to cheer switch a bit earlier. It would definitely help her at college tryouts to get at least some stunt experience well before tryouts. Sometimes high-level gymnasts struggle with...

Thanks for the link -- I knew about this long ago but hadn't seen the actual PDF, and didn't realize we were one spot from Tier 2. Crazy how a dropped stunt can cost you a few thousand dollars! LOL
