    College Tryout Tumbling Skills

All I can say is 6 weeks (give or take) is not a lot of time to get that many skills. Remember that these are minimum requirements. Make sure you have a reputable instructor who is going to focus on technique.

All-Star Cheer section: Where to put it?

I think it does. It's not necessarily a bad thing though. If your team is a stronger team in the cheer section than the music section, you may want to disrupt the routine. If your team is better at the music portions, do the cheer first and get it out of the way.

All-Star The death of the Large Divisions

It's extremely difficult to have 30+ kids with that level of skill. Taking coed out of the conversation, because it's always been hard to find that many boys. Look at Large All Girl before Restricted 5 was a thing. The last time you had to qualify to day 2 was (I think) 2008 or 9. But...

All-Star The death of the Large Divisions

The Large divisions have been dying for over 10 years. It just isn't feasible for most gyms at this point.

I know they had a couple issues, but thought they looked good. Love that cartwheel transition into the stunt.

Cheer Season Overview (Help Me Understand)

Tryouts are usually April/May. New Uni's get released randomly. You'll see a bunch over the summer. Sometimes you'll see some right before Worlds. Of course there's always the surprise new uni's that show up at Worlds. Showcase's are early fall or so. October for many, since that's right...

I wouldn't be shocked if they let her retire in lieu of other options they may have taken.

    All-Star Nerves with tryouts

Coaches get nervous for tryouts too. Just try to stay calm and do your best. Everything else will take care of itself.

    All-Star Is Non-Tumbling ruining cheerleading

The exact same things were said when 4.2 was created. I don't think it's ruining cheer. I think 5 billion divisions are too much, but NT isn't the cause of that.

All-Star Navarro in the news again

I think it's time for Navarro Cheer to go away

    All-Star Worlds 2023

Flip a coin. Panthers looked amazing today. Much better than yesterday. I personally think they have a harder routine. That being said, SE's stunts DON'T MOVE. So what they potentially lose in difficulty (and it's not all that much) they gain in technique. I think SE takes it, but I also...
