so, as part of my recovery, i've been trying to cook more but i'm need of ideas! the only rules are each meal must be balanced(ie- no green salads with no dressing) and preferably require little prep and cook time. so help me out! what are you favorite recipes?
apples
and the fresh berries(raspberries, blueberries, blackberries)
my poptarts go pretty quick too considering that i'm the only one who will eat them
it could be barf, or snot, or spit too. you never know. either way, it's some normal bodily function that everyone does and that some unlucky girl got caught on camera.
well, i'm bringing this thread back because it is one that is pretty close to my heart. i know a posted a while back, but i was in a pretty sick mindset at that point so i just wanted to re-iterate whatever i said before.
i'm 19 and i was diagnosed with anorexia in october. my anorexia got so...
i was getting a massage at a spa(totally legit and very expensive spa actually) and they must have knicked the bone spur in my ankle while rubbing my feet because i woke up the next morning with an ankle the size of an orange and a massive bruise which is still there. oh, and this was like a...
the complexity of an eating disorder goes way past dieting, looking skinny, losing weight etc. trust me, i was diagnosed with anorexia a couple weeks ago and i often despise how my body looks right now. yes, it's thin, and yes, a lot of people think it looks like an ideal body. but it is also...
i was accepted into ithaca! they gave me a really great merit scholarship too. it's a great school, but i recommend visiting. it's in the middle of nowhere so you have to make sure you like the environment.
a white t shirt, white spandex shorts, a colored bra and sharpies go a lonngggggg way! for ariel you could wear a purple sports bra/t shirt and some green shorts or a skirt. and then throw some glitter on it and do your make up really outrageously. or for the girl from easy A, just wear a black...
hang in there sweetie! i know it can be difficult to accept that you're afraid to do something, but think of all the positives of going back into cheer. obviously it is something you absolutely adore since you think about it all the time. it can be so scary trying to get back into something...
i agree with @gi_cheer.
the purpose of dieting is to lose weight. making the effort to eat healthier implies that someone is trying to make lifestyle changes. diets aren't permanent. lifestyle changes should be. and this is why a diet will always fail.
make sure there is no way for it to ever happen? no, sadly not. but i think we can make sure we are using proper technique and building skills in a safe way. a cheerleader who has a terrible layout but starts working fulls is going to have a greater risk of tearing something serious as compared...
this is another good point to bring up. don't rule yourselves out of any schools! the worst that happens is you don't get in. but if you never apply to one long shot school that you really want to go, you'll never know if you could have gotten in!
the earlier, the better! i sent in 17 apps on november 1st and didn't have to stress about it for the rest of the year! it was really nice to have them off because i could focus on enjoying senior year and keeping my grades up. i had a lot of friends who left things to the last minute. not only...
well, i won't say "don't stress, you have plenty of time," because in reality, the application dates are creeping up! however, take it easy and don't let yourself become overwhelmed by the college process. start planning 1 day a week dedicated to a college visit and/or college research and...
