I got watch the opening ceremonies today because I was home sick. I'm excited for the Winter Olympics to start! I will probably watch what's on when I have time off, I like most winter sports.
Neither The Majors or Jamfest is available to watch in my country on Varsity TV/Flo Cheer, even though I pay the same amount monthly as anyone else. I'm soooo frustrated. I've written to their costumer service and their Twitter. They just say that they "hear my frustration". Sorry for the rant...
Rhinestones from Varsity are actually not that expensive, so it would barely have made a difference for the total cost of the uniform.
In Sweden, level 1 teams can't compete at Nationals (however they can qualify and compete at The Summit, but that's another story lol). It's more like the rec...
Thanks for the input! All athletes pay for their own uniform. We chose simple uniforms for the level 1 teams because they only compete at smaller competitions, compete less than the higher level teams and because parents asked for cheap uniforms and more opportunities to use their uniform (they...
Uniforms for my gym.
Youth 2
Senior 2
Senior coed 6
Mini 1 & youth 1 (one team purple, another one charcoal, third team black). We got sooo much heat from the parents for the level 1 uniforms. They thought it was too much fabric, ugly, boring, "they look like golfers/tennis...
Yesterday, at the same time this happened today, I was at the exact place this went down. Very scary. Thank God all my friends and family are ok (some were there when this happened today). Thoughts going out to everyone affected by this attack.
First "big" competition for my program was this Saturday. Here's videos of senior coed 6 and senior 5. I'm sooo proud of these teams, for this being their first year (we're a first year program) and overcoming a lot of obstacles. Both teams made majors changes in the routines 2 days before the...
I understand that, and I think that sucks. The teams with the highest scores should get the bids, regardless what their tuition is. Some senior coed 5 teams have free tuition for their boys, right? So that's about the same.
What I mean is that you can find a competition that gives out paid bids...
It makes sense in my head, lol. ICU = no bids. Worlds = AL, PP and paid bids for US teams, AL bids for most international countries.
I understand that there are American teams that go on AL bids, but you still have the chance to go after a paid or partial paid bid, so I don't see how that's the...
