For all of those who posted about running the Nike DC run I'm so jealous. I did the one in SF and it was the best thing I ever did. I did it through team and training and that's how I trained. I went from never running and practically dying after 1 mile, to completing a half! Truly a wonderful...
For groceries everyone is on mostly on their own. But things like condiments we bought at the beginning and split the price.

I went today and played around- still no decision at the moment. I hate going to the store, every time I go in I honestly feel there are wayy too many people in there and I can't get the attention I need. I think I'm going to wait it out. My current computer is still usable- I'll just gain some...
Okay, so I want some input about a laptop-
Currently I have an older 15" Macbook Pro. I use a hard cover with it so it is pretty big and heavy and not very "portable". I nearly feel as though I'm crushing myself when I carry it in my backpack when I have to. I typically avoid carrying and if I...
My advice would be do what is best for YOU. It's your college time, and it's your future you're creating. If you're uncomfortable where you are and are getting anxiety over it, not doing your potential best then it probably isn't good for you to stay there. Sure I understand you don't want to...
My parents pay $6,500 a semester (and that's in state) plus an additional $1,007 a semester for health insurance that the school provides. I had health insurance on my own, but it didn't have certain things covered that as a student I needed covered. Luckily- I am a transfer student so my...
It's probably super random since they're not really known for any of their cheer teams, but I'm curious as to why more people don't apply to any schools in California?
You guys talking about the highest grades.. My first biochemistry exam had a median of 42 and the highest grade was a 79.2. Out of a class with over 400 students.
The second exam had higher grades but the mean was a 57 and median was 58.

I'm taking only 13! I took 15 at most at my community college but here I'm only taking 13 and that's because that's the minimum I'm allowed to take. 9 are science classes and 4 are just two fun classes. It's a good load. I wouldn't be able to survive if I actually took all 13 as science classes...
I think I finally have my schedule set for the semester.
And two quizzes today. I have no idea how I think the first one went, but I think the second one went well! Ah college life is really starting feel better. I should say university life since I've been going to community college the past...
Dropped a class today and the first day of school is tomorrow! I feel very relieved though. I had been feeling very nervous/anxious for a couple weeks now and I thought it was the whole moving away- only 15 minutes!, moving to a new University, and all that, but I definitely feel much better...
I agree with @MissBee in that abs are made in the kitchen, however I do not think going "paleo" is the only answer to get your abs. Make sure you're getting more of a 30/30/40 ratio of Protein/ Fats/Carbs and that should be better that whatever you're doing without tracking them.

Love these if you have the time to make them! Maybe make them the Sunday before for the whole week?
Also if you're trying to be healthy I would stay away from protein bars or make sure you look at their nutrition...
I'm currently a part of team in training, which is a running organization that raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In honor of your friend Taylor I will run one mile for him as I run the Nike women's half marathon this October.
I won't be living in a dorm, but an apartment and I'm pretty nervous. I'm a transfer student from community college so although I'm older I'm still going to miss my home. But then again I am only 15 minutes away... But still.
I've bought a few things but I still need to go buy a bed. I think my...
