It has been pretty bad here. There were 8 fires going at one time. Many, many Cali athletes and coaches and their families have been evacuated. At one point freeways were closed as the fire jumped the 15. The humidity is very low and the winds were very high. Please pray that it all ends soon...

I think Hot Cheer set some kind of record, placing 4th with only 15 kids and having an extremely, barely out of cheer herself, young coach. Amazing, simply amazing!
Can I just say how overwhelmingly proud I am of Hot 5? They have 15 kid on the floor and are keeping up and passing teams of 20. Way to go Hot 5!!! I can't wait to see you in finals tomorrow!!
this was in our local paper. I did not realize that he was only 13. What a horrible burden for such a young child to bear. My heart is breaking for his family and friends. Many prayers being sent their way.
Oh those cheers.. When my baby was a tiny, lo these many years ago, she dutifully chanted crime and amitment instead of pride and commitment. I still laugh at her mangled version.
I know! When I reread my post I was . Wasn't mocking, just pointing out that when another gym moved into that area it was all cheers and yipee for us. It's sauce for goose and gander time.
