At no point is USASF looking and just pulling skills to just pull them. At some point coaches have to take responsibility. If coaches won't take responsibility then something has to be done. I HATE seeing skills being removed but not as much as I HATE seeing a kid get hurt. Coaches are not...
If all coaches made proper choices we wouldn't have the need to limit skills across the industry. Bc many coaches are risking kids safety it is important to place kids safety first. Is one bhs really that big of a deal in the big picture? If one bhs can save one kid from injury IMO it's worth it.
Sarah judged for Varsity and formerly owned Primetyme. She's going to do great!!! But she isn't a "Varsity" higher up per say. She's awesome and a fantastic judge! She will do great things!
Step 1 check with a Dr. Step 2 a simple, cheap & easy help is to fill up water bottles and have CP squeeze it like a stress ball to and from school, gym etc. It helps strengthen all muscles in and around the wrist. Best of all it's CHEAP!
It doesn't matter what the grip is the twist is determined on the flyers hips for All-Star. Some high school & college competitions specify differences. So if a team chooses to do a more difficult grip that scores the same as an easier grip I'd like to see the score higher for the easier grip...
I'm shocked there hasn't been more discussion of rules voting on here lately. This seasons votes are HUGE and will change the industry (some potentially good some potentially bad depending on your views). Either way if you're eligible to vote PLEASE tune in, watch and VOTE!!!
I've been traveling all summer working clinics at all different sizes of gyms. I've noticed as a whole kids are punks these days. Idk if it's social media where they can hide behind a screen or if parents are just blind. I've noticed and spoken to every single gym (just looking back I'm...
I'm not familiar w/a cheerleader supporting or selling diet pills. I just think in general (minus diet pills) people take it too far on their criticism of others.

Only reason they say that is bc they didn't come up with it. I ask this -
What's more impressive? A traditional full up or a cross gripped double up?

I'm curious how many people that are "over cheerlebrities" follow them on twitter, Instagram, etc.? If there are things that bother you feel free to unfollow or just scroll past.
Nothing annoys me more than satire sites so I've learned to realize them for what they are and scroll past, simple...
Judges count hip rotation. Doesn't matter how it's done (in all-star). College (specifically UCA) counts flyer hip rotation & bases feet. Idc how it's done, if it scores & it's simple I'll teach it & compete it. Lots of things have evolved over the years why shouldn't grips? Just bc this...
instep grip is slightly different. Not sure if it's shown in the picture but the way they are executed is slightly different. Both work very well!

I've had 2 athletes (with solid level 5 skills), IMO def recruit worthy kids attend CA camps and they LOVED everything about the experience. They came back and said how awesome the experience was and nice the gym and staff was. Recruited, no, a good time, yes.
