As was stated before in this thread ICE of Il is supposed to be doing it. They have already picked at least 4 of the parents (i've heard). If they want drama they have picked a great place.....so sad, so very very sad :(
I understand the whole release issue and I too think that there is two sides to every story, but this is a totally different situation. My question is what is the fairness in this rule when the above situation can be done to an athlete? What is a parent to do when you have done everything...

My cp has been a lv5 athlete for 5yrs and she broke a bone in the palm of hand doing a bhs on tumble track. My son has been a lv5 athlete for 6yrs and broke his femur jumping.
My daughter team would take the summer off to rest athletes. They would offer summer camps/clinics 1 to 2 days per week but they are really like open gym to keep skills, strength and flexibility in check and they would only run for about 1.5 to 2 hours unlike practice which is like 4 to 5 hours...
