    All-Star Gas And Traveling

I can be at the gym in about 7 minutes give or take, however I only live 6 miles away. I rarely get stuck in "traffic". And by traffic, I mean stuck behind a tractor or somebody's Granddiddy :p

All-Star New Uniforms 2014-2015 Season...just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!

I'm not going to address the obvious, but I will say this: NUDE undergarments ladies, always nude underneath of anything white. IDC if it's white shirts, shorts, or pants, always default to nude.

    All-Star Cheer Athletics (questions/rumors)

Not trying to be snarky, but that sounds like a Varsity problem, and one I, if I were a business owner, would not really care about. ETA: On the same note, I, as a parent, would be livid that I would be expected to spend a TON of extra money on flight trips out of state because Varsity might...

All-Star What Cheer Shoe Do You Prefer?

Strange question... on the Nfinity website there is a picture of the Defiance from the back, looking at the heel ( here: Nfinity Athletic Corporation ) can anybody verify if the heel is really like they are intentionally worn on the outer edge, or is this just the picture?

All-Star New Uniforms 2014-2015 Season...just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!

CP11 is 4'6" and 67 pounds and her YS leo from last season still fits. A little snug in the bits now, but, doable.

All-Star New Uniforms 2014-2015 Season...just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!

Our old uniform was program-wide, and it was crops & shorts from seniors to tiny.

Yes. Not a fan of the random belly stripe on the full top either. However, it's a good looking uniform otherwise.

    All-Star Substance Free Programs

Correct. This is to avoid people trying all sorts of tricks when providing their specimen, namely trying to pass off someone else's urine as their own. Urine should be within a specific range of temperature once it exits the body. For these purposes, I am assuming that any deviation will result...

    All-Star Substance Free Programs

Yes. As you know I am an office manager in a doctor's office. I pulled this information for a routine urine drug & ETOH screen directly from the LabCorp website. As you can see at the bottom, a urine specimen would be considered stable at room temperature for up to 7 days. However, there are a...

All-Star New Uniforms 2014-2015 Season...just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!

It's cute, but a little much. All I can think about is how many fights parents will have with their minis and tinies trying to get this on them at 6:00 in the morning, as any parent of a younger athlete can tell you it will probably take about four or five tries to get everything aligned...

All-Star New Uniforms 2014-2015 Season...just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!

You do get a "pantyline" with leos & shorts, but no more so than you see with panties under shorts unis in general. The snaps, at least for Varsity uniforms, snap in the crotch so you don't see them. ETA: You can go look in the pics on FB that I'm tagged in. There are lots of pics of this same...

    Voting Slate For 2015-17

I didn't feel so strongly about it before, however I am reading more and more about athletes not "making the cut" for tryouts and being placed on prep teams. Before prep divisions were a thing the gym would have just absorbed these "less than desirable" athletes onto their teams (because who...

All-Star New Uniforms 2014-2015 Season...just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!

I actually like uni dresses. However, the top ones are awful. Sorry. They are too tight, too short, and that specific one just looks cheap. Maybe it is the fabric. I have seen dresses used before. A girl I went to HS with had a daughter who cheered for MD Marlins, and I want to say she was maybe...

All-Star #topoftheworlds - Usasf Has Big News On Monday??

IIRC Varsity owns a stake in it, but not all of it. Cheersport is their own EP.

    All-Star Young Champions

Regarding limited options... I'm in NC. The YCOA competitions were pretty decent sized. My daughter got into it b/c none of the local rec programs in the area offer cheer themselves. I think YCOA came in and did it for them, as it is/was listed on the Recs & Parks website. I will say in our...

    All-Star Young Champions

We had to buy the uniform. I suppose it was around $100 between the body suit, shell, and skirt.

    All-Star Young Champions

This is from the NC site: Young Champions Coaches assign class times based on students’ ages and abilities. Young Champions has five class levels. As students progress, the class time duration and cost will increase. Ages 4-6 (Beginners) Beginners Level 1 30 min. class $6.00 or 45 min...

    All-Star Young Champions

My CP did YCOA her first year, so 2008. Most bizarre rules. She was in the 8 and under age bracket I believe. They couldn't do more than a thigh stand. Compulsory elements for the dance. She did it for a spring session, fall session, and then we left. .I couldn't see her doing those skills for...

    All-Star Viral Article

Every time I see the gross photoshopped lotus pod pictures on my Facebook, it reminds me of when I worked for a dermatologist and we had a patient come in with a condition called nevus comedonicus. I fully believe this condition could have been the inspiration for that photoshop job.
