Darn, you beat me to it!! I know I said it before and I will say it again, this fad will pass believe me! Look at the "Dougie" and other dances that were supposed to be the "it" thing to do. It came and is now gone and "twerkin" will too. In strip clubs and family cookouts it will survive, but...
I'm thinking people are forgetting that these artist (Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus and any other person in the Entertaining business) are doing just that - "Entertaining". It may not be the entertaining that we'd like, but that is what they do. The original video for "Blurred Lines" is of topless...
IMO this "Twerking" is another fad like car bras, Fake Harlem Shaking and other things that come and go. The bad part is little kids are doing it and also with social media, things get broadcasted everywhere so everyone sees it. Its hard to blame those parents that just haven't seen their little...

Top Gun Cheerleading Academy
According to Gyms by state in the wiki sections (a little bored with time to do some researching) I saw Top Gun Cheer Academy from Tennessee has on their front page they first started in 1993 and they call themselves The Original Top Gun. I think this thread is a...

I will say it a million times over and over again, even when my son isn't cheering anymore, I will be going to Dallas to watch this competition for years to come "God willing". The venue is great. Beyond the seat saving and the small problems, it is by far the best competition I have been to. I...
I believe it was in '08. The first time I saw it was at COA Columbus Ohio and I said "oh no" until I realized it was part of the routine! I still talk about it today!!
FAB5 was at Spirit Nationals Wildwood, Spirit Cheer Atlantic City, Athletic Championship Providence Rhode Island, NCA Regional Baltimore, NCA Dallas Texas. They go on Saturday this weekend at Wildwood and will be at Return to Atlantis Baltimore.

go to Varsity: Live Stream and that is where you will pay to watch it. My daughter watched it from here last year as I was inside the venue and she liked it. As a matter of fact she used software to record her screen on her laptop and made a dvd from all her favorite performances.
Absolutely agree with this one!! I must say and this is strictly my own opinion, but to be truthfully honest as a spectator, I really do prefer this over that late April competition hands down!!
Dear Summer (the season),
Once again you never seem to fail us! This reminds me of the lesson I had in 1st grade with about 15 of us in a circle and the teacher whispers a sentence in the first kids ear and by time it gets to the end its never right. I think that exercise went on for 2 weeks...
