We play a roll the die game at practice to make things a little more interesting for the girls. That way, we get what we want but they feel like it was their choice lol

Each side of the die says something different like Fullout, All stunts, All tumbling, first half of routine, etc. girls nominate someone to roll and whatever it lands on they do.

Anyone have other fun things they do like this at practice that they would be willing to share? We would love some new ideas.

Id like more info on this game for my high school team -- it sounds fun!

Stole this idea from a Cheer Extreme video, but playing bingo! So we put the same things you put on the dice on nine papers (ex. 2 papers might be fullout, 1 tumbling only) and the team gets to pick what they want to do. Goal is to get three in a row. If they drop stunts or something like that, the paper is removed. I think the girls liked it. It was a great teamwork exercise too, since you have to decide together which three to pursue. :)

Our Gym does the dice too. They also have stunt/pyramid wars btwn teams practicing at the same time. Friendly competition.

We played Jenga! My coach had written a section on each block, and we would one by one have to pull a block to determine what we would do next, kind of like the dice. There would be things like "Jumps section 3 times", or "tumbling full-out", "3 minute water break", etc. If someone knocked it over, that meant we had to do a full out!

ETA: There was also a block or two that said full out- we didn't just do sections waiting for it to fall, lol.
