Hey fellow fierce boarders!

My fantastic friend Kelcie and I have been coaching the Brien McMahon cheerleading team located in CT and have had one of the most successful seasons they have ever seen. That being said, these dedicated girls have been given one of the most fantastic opportunities that most, if not all, high school teams in this area don't get. They were able to achieve a bid to US finals by placing first at one of the competitions they attended. For the last couple of years this team has had so many struggles between new coaching staff to just not getting the respect.

They have fought every battle given to them and have become one of the teams to talk about in the state. They went from being 18th place finishers or last place last year to top 5 and top 3 at every competition. We would deeply appreciate any help in order to get the athletic program at this school out there and to represent the state of CT cheerleading to it's best capabilities. Anything would truly help.

It would be wonderful if you could list all the fundraisers they are doing to pay for this. I know many teams do things such as clinics for elementary age athletes. Parents night out. Spaghetti dinners. Spirit garters sold at school. .....I think it is great that they have worked hard but I am not apt to give money to people just because of hard work. It would be great to know what they are doing to earn the money.

Currently they are having bake sales at school, having a raffle for gifts that were donated, car wash (which will be held the weekend before we head to US finals), as well as fundraiser night(s) where a local eatery/restaurant will donate 10% of the check of a patron who dines there if they say BMHS Cheer team
