Naw, he's really more of a "dog" person. Me, on the other hand... It's a good thing I'm on my phone right now, otherwise I'd Cat this thread.

Only when we stop stopping our lives can we begin to start starting them.

i just laughed way too hard about your statement in combination with your profile picture , it's just perfect

He's like the Candyman...say his name three times and BAM! Out jumps a thing he thinks is a dog.
I think you're exaggerating just a little.

**Sometimes I day dream Cheer Son is almost as good as Susie and then reality sets in**

Or beetlejuice. Or like Voldemort when he appeared any time a character said his name.

See! I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

On my news today was picture of a pit bull who had half of it's face cut off; and the first thing I thought was, "I bet @Cheer Dad is gonna link this eventually..."

ehh in my head i would consider texas, louisiana, alabama, georgia, mississippi, florida, the south. but technically you are right about the mason dixon line.
I'm in NJ, so admittedly a northerner, but I can't see how you don't think of South Carolina as the south-lol. To me that's about as southern a state as can be:). For some reason I never think of Florida as really the south, which I know makes no sense at all.

I agree! I never think of Florida as the south because it's so tropical.

Florida is just Florida. Texas is Texas. They are both their own entities.

The rest of the south is any place where I have to specify that I want my tea just iced not sweet.

So true. I felt the same way about California when I visited there; we drove up bottom to top and it was so different the more north we went.

North Florida---the areas attached the 'the south' are very southern, with the exception of like Jacksonville. That is kinda the cut off.

Central Florida---Orlando is tourist-hell in some areas, awesome in other...and the coasts are pretty stereotypical Florida, but the middle, not attached to water belongs to the North Florida southerners. This is where a lot of the farm lands are too.

South Florida---Kinda of a mix of everything. And could very well be their own state with Miami as the capital.

I love the fact that you are discussing the south. me and one of my coworkers discussed this about sweden the other day, many people disagree where in sweden tha south begins. (where i live is DEFENITLY the south since i do live almost as far down as you can come) but other places in sweden is not so obvious.

I'm not that far; if CP wants to go this year we may take her.

But you will laugh...hysterically. I honestly had German citizens ask me to please speak English so they could figure out what I wanted.
That happened to me the first time I went to Cancun LOL. FCD was mortified...
