Is it true that people trade stuff at worlds? And if so, what do they trade??
When I went to worlds, I took a bunch of bows and probably 3 shirts and 2 sports bras. I came home with about 10 trader bows, a sports bra, and about 10 shirts-ALL traded. I found that if you walk around outside with what you're trying to trade in your hand, the international people will come up to you! {That, and my mom found shirts she liked so she would go up to them and ask if they liked anything I had :D } But the international kids are DYING, literally dying to trade. They will sit in the courtyard with everything they brought with them to florida-including uniforms sometimes-sprawled out on the ground, waiting to trade. My favorite things I got are from different countries, because you can't get those in any online pro shop!

ETA: If you trade, take a picture with everyone you trade with! Especially international athletes! It's a great memory to have, trust me :)

What do I wear to the block party at Hollywood studios??
I wore just a cheer shirt and Nike pros in the past but this is normally the only time at worlds when you see cheerleaders in normal clothes. Weird right? There's also a lot of picture opportunities at the block party so dress accordingly for that.

First timer here. I have a question about park passes.

We are going down for Worlds and Summit and we are staying the week in between them. I am buying a five day pass for myself through USASF. I intend to use the pass for Worlds to get into WWOS only and then use the pass during the week between World's and Summit as a quick mini-vacay to the other parks. If we only go to WWOS and don't go to the other parks, do those days get deducted from our passes?

I hope that makes sense. It makes sense in my head, but that's not always a safe place.

No. Going to WWOS only does not use a day of park hopper.

Think of it as 2 separate tickets house on the same pass.
1. wWOS tickets- only taken off when used at Wide World.
2. Disney tickets- only taken off when used at the 4 disney parks.

Don't expect your kid to hang with you, I didn't see mine except when she competed or needed money. I know some mom's will think this is bonding time.... it is but with her team.
Exactly. Typically I only see cp when in need of money for food or bed time and even then it's rare. Just make sure your kid has a group to travel with so no one is ever alone.

**we can be friends if you like dogs**

Great advice!

Can you add a day to the park hopper passes once we arrive on site? Our gym only ordered the 3 day pass for the athletes and we want to upgrade it to a 5 day so that we can have time to play as a family after the competition is over in case the team uses the days up to go as a group if they have any free time.

I would call the USASF office in advance. They will have the answer for you. I wouldn't just wait and see because the people onsite have so much to do and little power to change things.

You can usually do that at any of the guest services areas outside of the parks. You can check as well when you pick up your passes.

I did end up calling and they said you cannot upgrade after you arrive. All changes have to be made prior to the invoice being sent to the gym.
