Team Canada was not 'asked/told' to go Premiere after continually winning. ICU simply made a rule where you could only be in 2 divisions. Since Elite was obviously easier for Canada they wanted to challenge themselves. Also- many level 5 cheerleaders are asked to refrain from doing Team Canada in order to concentrate on USASF Cheer Worlds
Thank you for your clarification, I should have known I was buying into a myth...

Juniors will be able to comptete but not sure if its next year or the year after. They are also getting semis. so one day semis next day finals. not sure if its next year though.
I also heard that the Juniors will be the new division.

I have not read up on any of this, but if they plan on adding semis for ICU, does this mean competing on the Thursday (Semis) and Friday (finals)? Thats a lot of competing for athletes in ICU and USASF worlds. Potentially competing up to 5 times! holy!

Man that makes for a loooong weekend. Especially considering teams would fly down early to train. May end up costing athletes even more $$ :(

Most European teams stay in Florida for 10 days anyway, so I don't think it will change for them. But I'm not sure how long Canadian, Asian and South American teams etc stay? It sucks if it becomes more expensive for them. It will definitely be more expensive for spectators, paying for all those days...
