I created this thread last season! I mix my own mixes that love to share with others and I love to listen to other teams music as well! So when you get your mixes feel free to post them here!

Cheer updates posted one on Twitter. I can say that I'm a little nervous About this season and the music issues.

I really want to here some samples of what the music may sound like this year. Anyone have any to share?

Listened to my music today and all I can say is: I'll stick to real music and not all of these voice over music.

Good luck with that considering the use of the original artists and covers of their music is illegal to edit without explicit written permission and licenses. :)

I think CS Great Whites Worlds mix was an example of the future of cheer music, according to CheerUpdates

Then couldn't we just get permission by emailing them or something?

Lol I hope you got lots of time and thousands of dollars. For now on cheer music will be cover songs or original content. Sorry dat there is no way around it

Can gym owners make their own mixes with songs? If the issue is paying for a remix, that could be avoided if the gym owners mix their own music. The people that mix music could avoid trouble by offering "consulting fees" for the gym owners which would aide them in creating the mixes, therefore not "paying" for a remix but rather paying for a service.

But maybe I'm not understanding it correctly.

No, you can not mix songs unless you have the licenses to do so no matter what.
