Hmm.. I have combo skin for the most part and as we approach winter it will switch to very dry so that's a plus. I'm in NJ so I think the humidity is passed us for now lol. I'm afraid of change. I LOVE the Dior foundation I currently use. There is about a two week supply left in the bottle. So do I buy another one at $62 (ouch:confused:) or try something cheaper and maybe not look great for a few weeks? My skin has just been breaking out like crazy, so while the airbrushed look is beautiful, my skin is clearly not happy. I use natural, non-chemical products for everything that touches me except my foundation. So, there's the problem. Tarte never looked right on me and bare minerals powder didn't cover a thing.

I keep reading reviews that the bareSkin bottle clogs constantly. Has your sister had this problem before? That would annoy me.
The Dior price tag is such a killer! If you buy the Bare Minerals foundation at ulta (and probably sephora but I'm not as familiar with their return policy) you can return it if it doesn't agree with your skin, which is nice since even though it's not Dior expensive, it's definitely not Maybelline affordable. I asked her about the clogging and she said it helps to make sure to wipe it off after each use and if it does clog, just straighten out a paperclip and stick it in to unclog it. Also, she bought the brush that goes with it the first time she tried it and said it's definitely not necessary. She just uses the Real Techniques expert face brush with it!

If the Bare Minerals doesn't work out and you like more natural makeup or makeup that won't break you out, Clinique just came out with Superbalanced Silk and it's a really nice demi-matte finish. I tried some on at work and it's not drying at all but it is slightly heavier feeling than the Bare Minerals.

Ulta has the 21 days of beauty and it started today!

I was so excited when I saw the circular in the mail.

Sad my mascara is the last day tho....and all of my mascaras are currently dry. I've been adding Visine to them because I knew they'd be in 21 days of beauty [emoji19]

Thanks for asking your sister! Good to know about the brush, because I have a billion already and didn't think I really needed it. I have a Sephora gift card and Sephora has my color in a smaller, cheaper travel size bottle so I think I may test it out that way.

UPDATE: the last two nights I've experimented with it after work just in case my face melted off or turned orange or something lol but thus far, I LOVE it!

Ah good! The concealer in the serum line is amazing if you find yourself needing some extra coverage or for under the eyes.

For people with drier skin that like full coverage but not the fact that most full coverage foundations can be drying, I highly recommend looking at the Lancôme Teint Idole cushion foundation. It gives full coverage like the original liquid but the finish is natural instead of matte so it doesn't dry out the skin. I'm oily and it works great on my skin too I just have to set it (but I set every foundation so it doesn't bother me) and I'll get a full day wear without any separation or greasiness. Plus, if you travel, you don't have to worry about it getting taken by TSA or breaking in your makeup bag because it's a compact and not a glass bottle. Another thing I love is that it doesn't gunk up if you touch up throughout the day. It layers and sits on the skin really nicely.

I wasn't a huge fan of the original liquid, I found it to be too heavy. But the cushion (as well as the stick) is so much more lightweight and natural looking on the skin.

I have some of the driest skin on the planet, and I've been using Vibrancy Argan Oil Foundation by Josie Maran.

Best foundation I've ever used. Usually I have the product flaking off my face by noon and this stuff stays in place and doesn't flake. I was colour matched at Sephora and its totally perfect. I also use about a half pump and my whole face is covered. It seems runny, but somehow has great coverage. I have mild rosacea and this totally covers it.

I can't wait to try this!

Just got my hand on the UD Vice sample box... with the 24 colors to play with...

Dying. I tried Manic and Backtalk and I am already a fan.

It is free with 25$ purchase on Sephora for Beauty Insiders, just in case you are interested.
