Really??? Putting kids in danger competing at midnight in less than ideal conditions and putting spectators in danger by locking them IN a stadium does not warrant a complaint? And the ONLY solution is to charge parents more money to watch their child because their child happens to be in the "premier" divisions that generate much of USASFVarsity profit to begin with?
How's this for a solution - take the EXACT wording in the packet, but instead say that the tickets allocated to family members of each gym will be at no charge. If you want to charge people for any leftover tickets, then have at it.

I think you misunderstood where I was coming. It was awful that those kids performed so late and not in safe conditions, so to avoid that the only option is to put them back inside since the new center will not be ready yet is what my post is speaking of. I also stated that I took the packet as saying the family and gyms would get tickets and everyone would pay. Not REALLY sure why your coming at me as I agree with you that the new changes are not great at all.

So does this mean large coed and large senior compete at the same time, but in different venues.....
Geez idk why it took them this long to figure out that easy solution. Ive been wondering why that didnt start doing this years ago.

Another solution - move the entire event to a location that can handle large crowds.

no, both compete at the milk house, but at different times in the day

this would be a terrible solution... from a spectating standpoint, it's already upsetting (but of course i have to get over it lol) that i have to chose between divisions and venues, now you separate the most anticipated divisions in the cheer community? nah... this will be my first time attending worlds and i can say that i'm already starting to reconsider w/ all the changes lol

They will be at different times, in the same venue.

"Sadly you can't complain about wanting change and getting it and its not what you want."
The above quote was what I was referring to. Maybe I took it the wrong way and if so I apologize. I think every single person who attended worlds had a right to complain and demand changes be made, particularly the athletes, coaches and families in large coed and large senior. To have USASF come up with a "solution" that requires everyone, especially parents of these athletes to pay a premium just because their kids compete in the most popular spectator divisions (which make USASFVarsity a boatload of profit to begin with) is insulting.

Am I the only one who thinks they are charging that $40 admission to maybe make up for the money they lost last year paying out those scholarships for endangering the athletes? It's terrible, but very smart, on USASF's part if that's the case. Like "Oh yeah we paid out like $100 per athlete last year BUT what if we separate the divisions and charge absurd admission next year to make up for it?"

Yes I did say that. Everyone does have a right to complain and the complaints were heard by USASF sadly the answer to the complaints are not what many were hoping for. I too do not agree that having the parents pay an additional $40 per session is ridiculous and hopefully if parents complain enough change to what will happen too.
