Awwww this was one of my fav episodes! I love that Bobby is on the team this season!! I could eat Orby up, I just love that man!! He has a good heart! I do remember Bobby stepping in at that comp last year and I was like damn he is really working it out!!! Excited for Reckless this season!!

i get cali smoed reaps the benefits of being able to cherry pick athletes from all around the US because of the shows success. But it just comes off as like their lower level athletes never advance fast enough to be on cali level 5 teams, i just find that concerning.

* is a two hour distance from san marcos gym and smoed gym make that much of a difference in how much level 5 talent they can find.
Or does large coed and LB pull in talent from other places as well.

I know this reply is a week later but... It's a minimum 3 hour drive and that's with no traffic. It's not unusual to take 4.5 to 5 hours to get down there to the San Diego area.

I honestly teared up a little at that comment! The fact that Bobby is on Reckless all season has me rooting for them even more than before!!

I would love to know the story behind this one.

If I remember correctly she came out to Cali because her family moved not just to cheer. Then apparently she gets "cut" not she's back In GA

I don't know why she got cut. From my understanding, there is no animosity though, she still maintains a good relationship with the smoed coaches.

why are they so desperate to have spikes, does that even add anything score wise.

Wow this episode hurt a little. She's trying so hard. So so so hard. She needs a push, but a positive one. Worlds isn't tomorrow. She's has gorgeous flexibility, and is clearly capable of pulling a spike with stretching and a little time. Also, a lot of girls can pull spikes when they have time so set up, not during the 2 counts of a stunt section. So I'm sure yes that spike in the video she most likely had me to set up the shot.

For those of you still wondering, Peyton Cummings (the girl from steel) moved back to rays because she was homesick so she didn't actually get cut. She filled in on spice which I believe is r5 and is now on apple rays for the 16-17 season

That's what they said in the episode. I think the confusion has been that it was originally said she moved to Cali because her family moved for a job or something like that. So if her family is in Cali, then the moving home to Georgia because she's homesick story is confusing.
