so it looks like a few of us got scrooged. That's disappointing
The 2 users that haven't responded to me, if their recipients don't receive their gifts, their usernames will be publicly broadcast and they will be banned from participating in future activities of this nature.

I just heard back from 1 of the 2 users I'm waiting on. I'm going to give some leeway before I out anyone for being a scrooge. Just an FYI.

I can also send something to someone who was scrooged! I can't get it out until January but no fierceboarder left behind - also @Tealxblack25 your second gift came back to me because I shipped it with Fedex and wrote an address that didn't exist. I'll be re-sending that out after the holidays (it was just a cheer bow and a letter from my cheerleaders, nothing major)

If we need to un-scrooge let me know, it won't get there before Christmas, but by the New Year.

Thanks to those who offered to send gifts to those who didn't receive them - that is really sweet! For me personally, it isn't about not getting the gift. Fortunately I am an adult and had the extra money and enjoyed the gift swap, albeit one sided. However, there are others who participated who either are students on a budget or signed up so their kids would get the gift, and it bothers me that those may be the ones to get scrooged. It also bothers me that it was made clear right from the beginning that you shouldn't sign up to participate if you were not going to send a gift, because this issue happened last year too. I have zero respect for those of you who just didn't bother to follow through with your commitment, especially if you received your gift. Even in the unlikely situation where circumstances prevented you from sending a gift, send a quick note through elfster acknowledging your inability to fulfill your commitment.

Apologies for sending my gift late. I DID NOT read the fine print. I thought the exchange was for Christmas, not the beginning of December. I received my gift, but did not open it until yesterday. Actually wondered why she sent it so early. My gift was delivered on 12/23. I am terribly sorry, if you want to publicly out me as a scrooge, please feel free. I am the absolute opposite of that in real life. Since I didn't realize I missed the deadline, this was the farthest thing from my mind. I loved my gift, but I never open gifts before Christmas, as I was told it was bad luck. To the person who I sent the gift, I hope you liked it and I'm sorry you thought that I forgot you. I just read the posts and I know how people take these things and run with it, that's ok, because I should have known better not to make any mistakes with Fierceboard. But again, I would never try to get a gift and scam someone. I am not that type of individual. I give to people year round, those who are in condition to give back. Anyhoo, Merry Christmas to all.

We've been out of town, but when we got home today it was like Christmas again for my daughter! She received her secret Santa gift (I'll add pictures later). She's really into adults coloring books and her secret Santa got her two she's been wanting for awhile, Beauty & the Beast and The Snow Queen, as well as she sent a very sweet note saying that she also has a roll-up bag of colored pencils on the way. I love this annual secret Santa;it's such a good way to get to know each other better! :D

I don't know what her username is, but the bottom message is to Emma from Kiana: thank you Emma for the sweet gifts! They'll be the perfect way to past time over the holiday break! Hope you have a happy holidays! ❤

It is disappointing but I'm still hoping my Secret Santa comes through for me & is just a bit tardy.
Again, I am so sorry I was late. I am feel horrible because I would have never done anything like that intentionally. I am so busy and I always have grand intentions and wanted to do something nice for someone and assumed (wrong thing to do) that it was for Christmas and not the beginning of the month. With my schedule I should have just passed on this event, I have so much going on and I tend to overburden myself. Once I was focused on the date, I fixed it in my mind to make sure I sent the Fierceboard gift for Christmas. I did send a message to the Elfster sight on 12/18 when I realized I missed the date and to let you know that I had ordered and was sending the gift. I sent a message somewhere else, but I'm not sure if you saw it. Thank you for your gift, it was very lovely. I am at work now and will post a picture of it tomorrow.

I am sure you don't mean it this way, but each time you post this it seems you are creating and shifting blame from yourself. Yes, indeed this was a Christmas exchange with people who live all around the world. In order for a gift to arrive by the holiday, perhaps internationally, but even domestically, you need to ship early. Every online store you may shop at publishes a last ship by date- even the post office does. Even if you had not read the "fine print" you can't believe that shipping a day or two before the holiday would get it there in time. I am sure you don't mean to sound like you are blaming the creator of the exchange, but as it is written it sounds like "well, it was billed as a Christmas exchange but it really wasn't so it's not my fault it was advertised/set up wrong". It is so nice that the exchange was set up and run by someone who is is just as busy (if not more so than) you or any of us, and participated in by those who are equally busy. We are all human, we all make mistakes- how we deal with them defines us as a person. Just own to up to it and move on- "oops, I had the date mixed up in my head, so sorry- but I've sent something along and I hope you love it as much as I enjoyed shopping for you".
