Whenever a team's music gets cut off at a competition and the crowd starts counting and when they get to dance the crowd speeds up like 5x regular speed and always imagine the scene when her parents died in Superstar because the record skipped.
Huh? Never seen it.

@CheerBank it also made me hate Radich more than I already did. Dude is so concerned with reminding everyone that he is in charge that he forgets to lead. I LOVED when Snake chewer him out after the shooting with Rick.

Ayyyyyye but look

I hope this helps bring peace To all those impacted. These are the types of people who deserve to be sentenced to death.

Also see: The Breakfast Club themed episode.
Raditch was a jerk in the DJH/DH days, too. So judgy.
Yes! But the one thing I really hated about that episode was how liberty confessed her crush to JT... like, it was so awkward. Believeable, but when you compare that to the tension between Sean and Emma, or the warm, familiar affection between Ashley and Jimmy, it just felt like SPLAT here's the union. No build up.

Lol I love that we've segwayed into discussing Degrassi multiple times in this thread and it never gets old.

@cheerisloving I remember seeing a Degrassi Mini of the kids at their high school reunion, and Jimmy could walk again, and he and Spinner were rich and famous. Crazy that Aubrey's actually happened. He was putting insane hours between filming the show and working on his music.

UGh I know. I remember when my brother told me Jimmy from Degrassi rapped and I was like idk if this is something I need on my spirit and soul (I don't do struggle rhymes).

Then he played me one of his songs with Wayne and I was sold, and have been ever since. He's literally an amazing performer. I love how he won at Billboard and Nina Dobrev gave him his award! And that he's not ashamed of his first taste of fame.

I love that they had her give it to him!

So I've wanted to sit in on an A&T practice for a while. Chatted with the team, watched them practice, had a great time chatting with Mary Ann and met the AD. Awesome experience!

I loved the minis they used to do. I think my fav was Jay as the British nanny.

The Breakfast Club ep was classic. I loved Ellie and Sean together. Although I still think Sean and Emma should have ended up together. I still pretend parts of Degrassi Takes Manhattan never happened (such as the wedding).

UGH. Don't even get me started. It's like someone had to meet a writing deadline and was like "screw it, Spinnemmer." It doesn't even sound right. I wonder whether they were trying to pull a Kevin and Winnie with Semma and instead we were left unfulfilled.

And I feel like a lot of guys (well, just Jimmy and Sean but whatevs) fell for Ellie because she is so kind, lovable and sweet, but I feel like she didn't see it in herself because of her depression and her mom's alcoholism. She and Marco were my favorite pair of friends.

But poor Toby! Couldn't get a girl after Kendra. And he was the only one of the original TNG cast to have lost two people that he considered his friends. :(

That wedding was a big WTF. I have a weird soft spot for Manny/Jay, not sure why. Maybe they did a Mad Libs to figure out the plot for the Emma/Spinner thing, and their names were chosen?
I'm not sure which character I dislike the most. Probably Wheels. (It'll be 10 years this year since the actor who played him died.) With Caitlin and Clare a close second.
I have never seen the Manny/Jay pairing, I'll have to watch DTM. And I can't remember who wheels was... jog my memory? I'll probably have to go back and watch.

Manny/Jay started season 7 of TNG. Wheels was in DJH and DH. His parents were killed in a drunk driving accident, and then in the School's Out! movie he goes and drives drunk and kills a kid. He also had an annoying tendency to blame everything bad in his life on other people. ("Not his fault the kid wasn't wearing a seatbelt!")

They also totally dropped the ball when Alex Steele came back in season 11. I guess they didn't bring her back as Angie because they "moved to Calgary". (Aka, the actor who played Joey got fired.)
Why was he fired? And Alex was the cutest kid.

I loved the Manny/Jay pairing because I live for bizarre pairings that actually build up. I love when the couples are from different orbits.

The Spinner/Emma thing is one of the worst. I said it before but it would've been cool if they actually interacted in the years of the show. I think the first episode where he bullies Emma and Manny is the most interaction they ever had.

I always thought they dropped the ball with Emma pairings. She had a few BFs but she really only had Sean and that's it.

They totally could and should have had her back as Angie.

I won't lie...I have a soft spot for Wheels. I thought he and "all the way with Stephanie K" were adorable in that geeky middle school way. Of course I was probably only 16 or 17 when I first watched it on PBS (the only way to watch it when it originally came to the States).

Spike was always my favorite. I still remember catching the first ep of DTNG completely by accident and instantly falling in love with the continuity from DJH and DH.

Allegedly selling Degrassi stuff on ebay. But the official line is he left to pursue "other opportunities". Which makes more sense, since at that point, Degrassi had been around in some form for 17-ish years. (Not counting Kids of Degrassi Street)
His character's exit was super abrupt and kind of came out of nowhere, though.
Degrassi ex Machina. LOL. What did they use for his exit?

"It's not my fault Lucy wanted chips." Yeah well, it wasn't her fault that she was subsequently laying in a hospital bed with bandages on her head and gauze over her eyes. I wanted to shake Lucy, Snake and Joey for being so comfortable hopping into the car with Wheels when they knew he was drunk (just watched School's Out). And I love how he hadoes the nerve to rag on Snake for being single and a virgin, but then get mad that Snake was irritated, and then had the AUDACITY to claim that Snake always felt sorry for himself... and then preceded to list all the reasons that everyone felt sorry for him.

Also why did not one stop that drunk girls from going canoeing? I get that a lot was going on but still.
