It funny that they keep saying they are going up against so many great teams at this competition. When literally there were 6 total worlds teams going for 6 total bids. All the worlds teams there were the only teams in their respective divisions. This competition has really shrunk in numbers over the last couple years. I wonder how many bids they will give out next year.

Not exactly a huge comp but they only take Paid Bids so I guess that is more limiting.

Previous episodes were getting prepped for Palm Springs, and now this is episode is after Palm Springs.

???
they havent been covering the competitions for some time now. they just show clips and they talk about what happened.

I may be wrong, but I believe its more for the flyer to teach them to not be on their heels. I think I remember it being explained that way at the Spring Conference in Montreal last year.

I use this drill a lot, it helps my flyers center their weight but also helps my bases balance the flyer.

Why is that? Are the cameras not allowed to anymore

What about GSSA? Pretty sure ATV filmed that competition and was featured on a few episodes.
right, they have covered some comps, but for the majority they havent. im guessing it has to do with costs and returns. when they did cover the comps, the show was getting 100k by then end of a week. now, the shown has grown so much that they get 200k by the end of the week, and this is being done without covering comps. covering comps costs them thousands, im guessing. they'll need at least one camera person (i usually saw two in past comp videos) and a producer. i'm guessing each person/employee costs at least $1300 per comp. why send out staff, who cost money, when the show is doing fine and is even getting better ratings without covering the comps. it doesn't make sense to pour more money into an investment when the return is the same or when investing less in it doesn't impede the return and actually sees it grow. that's just my guess.

As an "outsider" you do seem to have some reasonable insight into this show. Keep up the good work.
