I have concerns about the person running a "game" at NCA. Perhaps he is harmless, but his behavior was brought to my attention a couple of months ago and some of it is very concerning. When I found out about him, I told my CP to not have any communication with him and she said "oh I already know about him. He kept private messaging one of my friends from a different gym and he made her very uncomfortable so she blocked him". I have since heard of a couple of other cheerleaders who he has contacted privately and they were also uncomfortable. Adults should not be contacting minors they don't know privately for any reason. To me, this crosses the line of being just a friendly fan who travels the country to attend cheer competitions. I hope those who participate or those parents who allow their kids to participate do so with caution and don't meet up alone.

All level 5 Rays teams will attend NCA worlds and restricted 5 teams

Green will be at NCA. All level 5 teams are going not just Worlds teams.

I personally know 3 kids he has DMd on Twitter. Their parents have shut it down-- but this type of stuff just shouldn't be happening. Just because something isn't illegal doesn't make it ok.

You are right. And I have seen so many kids who travel to these competitions without their parents and with little adult supervision. Easy targets, especially when gifts and/or money is offered to them.

I know this person doesn't feel there is anything wrong with his behavior; according to him and his minions there is absolutely nothing wrong with an adult male attending cheer competitions halfway across the country ALL BY HIMSELF and taking pictures with minor females, and the rest of us are ridiculous for having concerns. He has likened his interest in attending cheer comps his own daughter's are not even competing at to someone buying season tickets for a professional sports team however did not have a response when it was pointed out to him that when you are watching a professional sports team you are watching adults, and certainly not interacting with teenaged female athletes.

I'm also wondering if the coaches of the athletes involved in this game are aware. It will certainly be time consuming and distracting for these girls to partcipate.

Yes. He steps so far over the line, it's not even there anymore. Parents need to be aware of this man and gym owners need to shut him down. He makes shirts with different gym logos and gives them out. He's like the guy in the van asking kids if they want candy, in my opinion.

That "game" is a lure to get minor girls to come find him... no way. Momma bear instincts kicking in and I'm not even a mom yet.

They can defend him if they want, that's fine but what the people defending need to realize that it's NOT okay for a grown man to contact little girls(minors) and ask to private message him! Not sure how anyone thinks it's okay for an adult to message little girls over social media that he doesn't know and say can you "private message me"?! For those that think it's okay I hope you aren't teaching your children that it's okay to reply to stranger over social media! Isn't this what we warn children about? [emoji849][emoji15] we tell them don't talk to strangers, don't meet them anywhere and here we have this grown man doing right in front of everyone and the majority of people don't seen bother by it! I plan to contact my gym and let them know what this guy is doing. Smh
