I loved that video. You did a great job of critiquing the industry without becoming aggressive or whiney. Could you explain your last point further? I understand that squad tosses aren't required but how does that relate to level 3 and 4 athletes? I don't think I understand fully.

Thank you! It's really relevant to all levels, but I focus a lot on worlds teams and didn't want to make it seem exclusive to just upper level teams.

AMEN! We used to go to GSSA, it was an amazing experience for our athletes, to see the best of the best I remember crowding in the convention center to try to get a glimpse of the worlds teams. It was standing room only, with am amazing electricity in the air. We haven't been to a competition since that competes in any way.

I really like your cheer videos! I agree with you about the extra small division I thought it was a odd change. I can definitely see how it could be a money grab. What do you think the impact of the changes made to the age grid and divisions will be? Personally, I am happy to see tighter age ranges. Although, I wish tiny was 4-6 instead of 5-6 and I would have liked to see the min age for a senior team go up a little more but adding a min age of 11 is a step in the right direction imo. I was surprised that I haven't seen any discussions about that on here. I thought it would be a bigger deal.

There were a couple threads about it when it first got released a couple weeks ago. A lot of good discussion about it

I agree with you as far as the tiny age group goes. And yes I'm glad the minimum age for the senior division go up. Even if it is a little. I really wish they would come out with their changes with some explanations. It's like we're all left trying to figure these things out. Maybe eventually we will get to 12 as a minimum age eventually. Who knows?!!!?!

Yeah I was disappointed to see how tight the tiny age range was. I started at 4 and was ready for competition not just exhibition. There seems to be a general lack of transparency in all star cheer. I would love to see the reasoning behind 11 vs 12 vs 13 even. I think senior should be 13 to 18.
