Great news!! I just got the final copy of book 3 of the TNT Force Cheer series back from my author! It will be out on Kindle on January 4th, but should be available on paperback early next week, in time to order for Christmas.

Also, if you are interested in reading the book in exchange for an honest review on Amazon, Goodreads, or even social media posts please let me know! I have PDF copies I can send of all three books to anyone interested in giving the book an early read and helping to spread the word about the series in general!

Thanks everyone! <3

I thought I would post an update here for everyone!

I am in the process of writing book 4, which will be coming out in April. In the mean time, book 3 came out earlier this month. Going along with that I have some big news! Book 3, Center Stage, will be in next months Spirit Box. So, any of you that get Spirit Box will get a special edition copy of the book. And, if you still want to order your Spirit Box to get the great items and also my book, you can save 10% with my code: DANACBURKEY!

I've also been giving away books at comps all season, and will be at Cheer Fest in Abbotsford next weekend, followed by a comp in Tacoma the weekend after. I'm also 95% sure I will be at PacWest in Portland in a few weeks as well!

Wanted to post here since there have been so many of you to help me with little details along the way....I just finished the first draft of book 4 in the series! It still has a few more rounds of editing to go, but it felt nice to be able to get the first draft all done after lots of pauses for research and details. :)

Just got book 3 in our Spirit Box! My daughter is excited to read it!!

How are your books doing?

Really great, thanks for asking! Since book 3 was in Spirit Box this month I have a lot more people taking interest in the series. And also some people have been posting reviews which is an amazing way to get the word out there.

As for the writing I am in the process of editing book 4, which will be out on April 12th. After that I am planning to give myself a little extra time before book 5 comes out. I want to give myself a little more time to get it all on paper...not to mention I have two project I want to start and one I want to return to after starting it this summer. It means I'm pretty busy, but it's a million percent worth it when I get to hear or see people enjoy my books! <3

Hello again everyone!

I wanted to share some exciting news with all of you: Learning To Fly is now available on audio book! It has been a LONG time coming thanks to a few delays, but book 1 in the TNT Force Cheer series is now live in Audible.com. The book is narrated by the amazing Emily Holz, and makes for a great listen while you are in the car on the way to the gym or even heading to competitions.

You can head over to Audible and pick it up now for FREE if you join Audible with their 30-day free trail. Basically, you can get the book for free and start listening right away!

Book 2 will also be made into an audio book in the months to come, likely coming out towards the end of summer or beginning of fall.

Thanks, and ENJOY! <3

It's been what feel like forever since I've been active on Fierce Board, but now that I am starting to write book 5 in my series I had some questions come up. I can also post them in the random thread, but figured this would be a good place to start:

-I'm exploring the idea of moving and living with a host family more recently. Obviously we know this is a thing for larger gyms and well known teams. But does anyone have any experience with this at smaller gyms and less known teams? Any experience, personal or stuff you have seen in your gym from others, would be much appreciated!

-I know I talked with people about it before, but can't for the life of me find out where. What is the general timeline for getting Worlds rings in to the gym? Is the end of August too early for something like that?

-In pyramid for a level 5 stunt, what kind of deduction is caused by someone doing flips un-assisted. Like, if someone was supposed to hold their arm while they did a back flip, but the arms don't connect in time, is it a big deduction?

Thanks everyone so much! I cannot even begin to explain how invaluable the advice, answered, and even inspiration I get from Fierce Board proved to be. I want to make sure my books aren't just entertaining, but rather actually true to life and as accurate in even the small details as possible! :)
