Bolded part. I see this a lot. Do most people have to get AD approval? We have never had to have approval on uniforms. We get what we want, when we want. AD isn't involved. I thought this was the norm, but I feel like I see this comment quite often on here and now I'm wondering if we in fact are not the norm.

At my old school, we never had to get AD approval because we bought uniforms with our own fundraising efforts/money.

At the school I currently coach at, we need to get AD approval because the school buys the uniforms.

And then there are the schools that require AD approval even if school funds weren't used.

We're red and black! We were just going to use a camp outfit so the girls didn't have to buy anything extra.
Somewhere we have really nice uniforms that were actually meant for football season but the person in charge of them last year lost about 1/2 of them :(

So these 2 outfits are Campwear. The shorts are not spanx, but the uca staffer style shorts so they would be a good choice for game wear too. It's the varsity collegiate look.

Thank you, these are super cute! We did decide to just fundraise and order more uniforms since they're convinently on sale right now :)

That right there would be my school -_-
I think it's understandable because at the end of the day you are representing the school, but it can still be annoying when they rule out things that aren't actually raunchy looking. But I guess lines have to be drawn somewhere, and that means barring reasonable design elements.

Does anyone have experience with threadless sequins? We're looking into new game-day uniforms next year because I harassed like twenty people in my family for their tax credit, and I want to add bling to the uniforms. Rhinestones are just a little too expensive, but the rep suggested threadless sequins instead. Was just curious what everyone's experiences were with them (how well they hold up, how they look under the lights, etc.). We'd get a "threadless sequin burst" around the AFHS on the chest if we did it, so if one or two fell off it wouldn't be terrible. They'd probably be worn about 6 times per year at the football games, since we have separate winter uniforms and another shell for the month of October, and my goal would be to get them to last 4 years.

We had sequinz for the last two years and never had one fall off. They look awesome under the lights for football and make our uniforms look great on the competition floor as well. We will for sure being getting them on our new uniforms as well this year.

That burst is exactly what we're looking into! Were there any special washing instructions for the sequins or just the usual handwash cycle, inside out, hang to dry?

We're new to GA and I've noticed middle & high school cheer is really big here! CP is only in 3rd grade but out of curiousity I looked into the middle school tryout info. It says the uniform is $600! Is that normal?

No fabric softener was the big thing. My girls are in high school so I'm pretty sure they didn't do anything special. This was our second year using them-so about 20 football games, 15 basketball games, wearing to school and competitions and no problems. Honestly, I don't believe even one has fallen off. These are GK, not Varsity though.

For the extra $11, it was worth it. They make the uniform so much more fun and exciting, especially at games.
