small group for Small Coed Div 1A. Looks like all in advanced divisions move on to Friday.

it's definitely been trending that way for the last few years, this one confirming it. Lots of D1A All Girl Intermediate teams though. I wonder if that has caused it?

I think you're right about the intermediate divisions being available in NCA competitions. UCA competitions do not have intermediate divisions at neither the college nor the high school nationals. I noticed that more teams compete in the UCA than in the NCA IMO. Thoughts?

I do see a lot of club teams in that division. All though I am interested in the academic trend for some of the schools. Some of the schools listed are highly competitive and I know there's a correlation to getting high level cheerleaders accepted into these D1A schools.

I noticed that, too. NCA does allow club teams to compete but the UCA only allows the official spirit squads whose main focus is supporting their athletic teams.

Excited! We know a lot of athletes competing! Makes it even more fun!

According to my CP (NCSU Small Coed), a lot of programs have had funding cut. We are lucky and do not have to pay any money for her to compete, but a friend of ours at a smaller school had to raise $1000 right off the bat to be considered to make mat.

Neither does a team like Louisville or Oklahoma State, for that matter.

Does anyone know if you can pre purchase tickets? I can't find anything on their website.

I was on NCSU's all girl team and have a lot of friends on small coed....it was so memorable to watch them win last year! Can't wait to see what they're bringing to Daytona this weekend at showcase!!
