@Ashley , this weekend and your list above seems to put IO6 over 10 teams. I wonder if USASF/IASF will need to hold Canadian trials now like they do for level 5, or if they'll just leave it as they weren't planning on it now.

I don't think they will. IOC6 (small and large) might end up with over 10 teams in the US as well. They might add it next year, but I think since they've already said the competition will start Sunday they won't add it for this year.

I imagine teams have already made travel arrangements that might have them arriving on Saturday.

They base it off the previous year, so next year those divisions would have a trials if that's the case.
Though IOSC5 had 11 last year and more this year and doesn't have a Canadian Trials

Sea to Sky still has, but I believe most of those bids get differed.

According to their website, you are still allowed to defer bids.

It's just Summit bids that can no longer be deferred. Worlds bids can still be used in 2018.
