Ok so I swear to all that is great that yesterday (Monday) I checked the flocheer and varsity page and the subscription was $29.99 a month or $149.99 for the year. I wasn't ready to order so I waited until today. BIG MISTAKE!!
varsity tv isn't letting anyone join pro anymore until May 2nd and FloCheer is now charging $39.99. I already sent a customer support email cause that's just ridiculous.
And just to add to that... I add the flo sports channel on my roku, go and look for flocheer etc, guess what it says...??? $29.99 per month and $149.99 annually.

Like seriously?!?!

Their way of preventing people from paying 1 month seeing Worlds and canceling. They should do pay per view and they'd make bank instead of pissing off a whole bunch of cheer people!

Honestly I wanted worlds and summit for my parents to watch while we are there since they can't go... ridiculous. Then it's like $149.99 for the year but what am I suppose to watch from now until October lol

$40 for a three-day event broadcasted from 4 locations is pretty cheap for what you get.

Fwiw, I purchased the full year subscription instead of monthly due to too much wine a couple of years ago ;) and to my surprise, we use it a lot. You are right that summertime will be slow, but once the season gets going, it is so nice to have. Our cheer world keeps getting bigger and it is nice to be able to watch our gym compete at Majors, or see friends compete at High School and College Nationals, and at Summit etc. We even use when we are at competitions that are being shown for watching other teams while we are getting ready. CP's gym is also featured on one of their shows, so we watch that too.

On the flocheer app for roku when I go to log in I have this page

Now I know it says varsity tv but that's why I'm saying yesterday I had to reset my password because I had varsity or whatever like 2 years ago so I had an account previously. I check varsity it was 29.99 then I checked flo cheer and it was the same price so I couldn't understand what the difference was and I figured ok I'll just get whichever cause it's practically the same thing and I can watch on the roku. Well not today.

I don't see the reasoning for one to be $29 and the other $39 when literally when u compare both sites, they say the exact same thing.

What does it say if you try to sign up through another sports flo page? We just bit the bullet and got it about a week and a half ago but because my husband wanted flograppling to watch Abu Dabi and we paid the regular yearly rate.

If you have a yearly subscription you have access to each sport on flo and varsity tv!! Honestly the amount of programming was well worth the price.

I was just wondering that too... gymnastics is showing 20/mo or 147 upfront.
wrestling is showing 20/mo or 150 upfront.

but they could have put limitations on the Worlds broadcast to limit access to those flo accounts started this week. i am not sure, someone else will have to test and see.
