Victory Vipers (Doylestown gym) may have a Senior Restricted coed 5 team next season (2018-2019 season). There already planning (likely) to have a senior coed 4 team this season (2017-2018 season).

I don't get how its selfish to leave one gym for another. Has cea even had tryouts yet?? So why are coaches mad about athletes leaving when the gym itself hasnt held tryouts for the season...
Angry tweeting about athletes on technically the off season is childish and to me seems like bad buisness.
Plus hasnt it been said somewhere that the ssx flyer was moving to Florida for outside reasons... How can you be mad at an athlete that's moving a thousand miles away.

The senior elite flyer is from Florida. I completely agree with your post. Coaches are failing to realized that their potential clients can see this type of behavior. I mean who really wants to deal with a coach who throws a hissy fit on social media? Imagine what they do in the gym?

I saw the tweets. I get being dissapointed/slightly bitter about athletes leaving, but dont throw them under the bus in a "general" tweet. Wish them the best and dont be sad that its over,be thankful for the journey you made with them.
Those involved will know who its about, and its an ugly picture.
Must say i wouldnt have expected from this specific coach, from everything else ive seen she is a really positive coach, has several award systems and lots of ways to positively adress achievements small and big.

Exciting! ...but why not Legacy Cats? I just really hate the "lady" name trend. Have they announced all teams yet? Or do we not know if this will be taking the place of Royal/King/Queen?

I know they announced a small coed team.

Totally agree with you. It's okay to feel a little disappointed or bitter but publicly tweeting or discussing the athlete is NOT the right way to handle! This is a business and that athlete wanted to try another gym. There is nothing wrong with that. I am not the biggest fan of kids uprooting for cheer but all that matters is that it is working for that athlete and their family.

Others have touched on this, but I also find it extremely hypocritical that a gym who publicly advertises housing options and scholarships is speaking out so much because one of their athletes opted to make a move to another gym?? Their behavior makes me thinks kids might be leaving for a reason. Most tweets I saw from athletes at gym have been very supportive.

Also have seen some stating that kids only care about winning rather than loyalty which just made no sense considering the team in question has won more recently than TGLC. A lot of the kids have already won Worlds. More about the experience for most!
