Three things:
1.) They got the number of males in each senior coed club division wrong... unless they’ve decided to just change the rules again.

2.) 15 senior division teams can make finals now if there are more than 40 teams registered to compete in their division (so a good small senior team bombing in semi-finals may not be the end of the road anymore).

3.) I guess it’s nice that they’ve allowed teams to switch from extra-small to small division, using the same bid, if a second team in their gym earns a bid.

Number 3 was mentioned when the x-small divisions first came out. It almost has to be there because teams that have 14 or less people will be placed in the x-small division at comps that split it like that, regardless of if they have other worlds teams.
And I'm guessing they just didn't change the numbers of guys from previous worlds packets.
I do like the change for the bigger divisions allowing more teams to move on.

Another thing that I am not seeing is an additional price for admission to LAG and LC finals.

So this is what I understood would happen if an extra small team got a bid and the program has another worlds team going (above bolded). But I was reading the packet and it says:

NEW Worlds Divisions Senior Extra Small All Girl (5-14 members) Senior Extra Small Coed (5-14 members)
Stipulations • A program may have only one Extra Small team at Worlds: either All Girl or Coed, not both. • If a program accepts a bid in either Senior Extra Small All Girl or Senior Extra Small Coed, that program may not compete in any other Cheerleading Worlds divisions.

The above in red doesn't say they will be placed in the small division. It says that any other worlds team cannot compete AT ALL. Or am I just misinterpreting this whole thing?

Maybe it backfired on them and they took it away. Those extra charges for finals put me off of Worlds and would have kept me from ever going back as a spectator.

The next page clarifies:
Bid Receiving Requirements A team that receives and accepts any type of Worlds bid must compete at Worlds in the same division they competed in at the qualifying event where their bid was awarded. EXCEPTION: If a program receives a bid in a Senior Extra Small division (5-14 members) AND a bid in another division and chooses to take both teams to Worlds, the Senior Extra Small division team must move to a Senior Small division. They may NOT add additional team members. The team will NOT be eligible to compete in the Senior Extra Small division. They may NOT add additional team members. The number of participants competing in any division at The Cheerleading Worlds may not exceed the number of participants that performed on the competition floor at the bid-qualifying event.

Ah thank you.
I was trying to find clarification but I guess I was reading too fast.

They really try and make it as confusing as possible!! And it doesn't help that Varsity does not have that rule. Wish they both were on the same page, there would be a whole lot less confusion.

The arena was pretty empty for finals. And I do not blame anyone for not wanting to pay more money to watch, it was ridiculous that they were charging that at all.

Will the new building be done by worlds? I always kind of assumed the extra admission was a crowd control measure.

Also, there's no US Trials for level 6, but last year at least Large Coed 6 had more than 10 teams.
