Will the new building be done by worlds? I always kind of assumed the extra admission was a crowd control measure.
I believe the building will be done next month. And as for crowd control, I think that worked too well since finals were reportedly empty.

Yes it sure did work too well- we bought extra tix by mistake, couldn't sell them, then couldn't even give away the last two.

Also, there's no US Trials for level 6, but last year at least Large Coed 6 had more than 10 teams.
I was thinking this too... I feel like the trials are really beneficial for teams to use as a “warming-up to Worlds” performance.

Maybe it backfired on them and they took it away. Those extra charges for finals put me off of Worlds and would have kept me from ever going back as a spectator.
I don't know why it took me this long to finally figure out why finals were so empty for them.... Ha.... But I'm 50/50 on the matter. Ive been a spectator to large senior finals when it was an absolute madhouse in the milkhouse one year. It was exciting but it was not fun getting cussed out by everyone around you about seats and peoples not having a good view around someone jumping up and down randomly... Never again will I do large senior finals....

I want to make FastPass+ reservations as early as possible. May I have my Park Hopper® tickets prior to arriving in Orlando?

Unfortunately, no. Due to the discounted nature of the Worlds Park Hopper® tickets, our Worlds staff will not have access to the tickets until the week of the competition

I just want to double check with my WDW savvy friends if anyone has figured a way to get around this besides buying a regular parkhopper and not the USASF one.

My main goal is a fastpass ressie for Pandora lol - but if I can't do it ahead of time, then there is not a great incentive to stay onsite. I might as well stay with the gym at their hotel.

Absolutely. Plus with only 3 moving on to finals, it means those other teams will get to perform twice.

Was hoping countries with high scores could have more than 3 move on. Dislike that an IO team can have the 4th highest overall score and not make finals while teams with much lower scores from other countries make finals.

When you have a competition labeled as Worlds, that is the absolute correct way to run it - there are many sports that the 5th and lower teams would be better than the top teams from some countries.

The thing with All Star Cheer is that there are a LOT of clubs/divisions and without regional championships {like gymnastics/figure skating} you have a LOT more teams going to Worlds. In most other sports only the top 2-5 regional winners move on to Nationals and then only the top 2-3 at Nationals moves on to Worlds. The cynical side of me believes that there are so many Worlds bids as purely a money grab by the USASF and the IASF.

For both USASF Worlds and ICU Worlds, they should move from Country to Country with a hosting bid process. Guessing this hasn't happened because the other countries do not have solid national-level infrastructure, yet. Sort of surprised Canada hasn't been a Worlds location.

Only way around it is to buy them from Disney Instead

Agree to disagree, my opinion ; I want the best against the best, all countries welcome, but earn your spot. My opinion doesn’t mater so....... LOL

Following. For years my little nugget has watched The Cheerleading Worlds via livestream. But not this year! We changed gyms this year as Ace in our area closed. She made the Worlds team at her new gym (our Ace location never had one) and they earned their bid to Worlds this past weekend. She is very excited. I'm a little overwhelmed.

Congratulations! The first time at Worlds can be overwhelming - feel free to ask questions!

Thanks. We've been to UCA nationals there a few times. And we are florida residents so I think we have the disney part of it down. But as for the "worlds" part of it I'm not even sure what I should ask. LOL

Sorry if this was already talked about earlier, I looked but didn't see it.

I'm planning to attend both Worlds and Summit this year to vlog, cheer on friends, and do book research. I have my flights and hotel and all that, but what is the best way to go about doing Disney tickets? Any tried and true methods for saving money but still attending both events?

THANKS!
