We have a history of wearing uniforms for 5-10 years or longer. I think that’s too long, but we really go for classic, simple designs that never grow old. Even now, my kids are not wanting to get new ones next year because they love the ones we are in. I wouldn’t even consider it if they weren’t all out of production with Varsity.
have you pushed your rep about the old designs..? Varsity makes fillers of old stuff all the time.

Oh, I know, they’ve been doing that for me for a while. I shouldn’t have posted that as an “excuse,” but it’s been a selling point for me to get our parents to fundraise hard for new ones.

When I was in high school we bought our uniforms 2 years and the school paid for them for 2 years. (So 4 uniforms, a new one every year)

My younger sister cheered at the same school 9yrs later and the school bought the uniforms and she probably had 5 different uniforms.

My niece cheered at the same HS this past year(as a 7th grader on JV) and the competition uniform and game day uniform were the uniforms that her aunt got her junior and senior years and quite frankly I was bothered by it all (they’re also 9 years apart in age). The quality of the uniforms were absolutely disgusting.

I would have rather purchased a new uniform for her

Speaking of uniforms. The middle school where I work is getting new uniforms and it is a Title I school. Awhile back someone mentioned varsity having a Title I discount. Does anyone have any information on that?

Varsity's Title I discount gives 10% off the total purchase price and free shipping, regardless of order size. It's arguably one of the reasons I will always use Varsity while working at a Title I school, though I do wish Rebel would implement some sort of similar system.

Thanks! Is this something that the coach would need to discuss with the Rep or is this information linked on the Varsity site anywhere.

I haven’t been able to find it and when I mentioned it to the coach she had no clue (this was also our 1st year being Title I )

My Varsity rep said something about the Mohave discount (we're in Arizona, so it may be different state to state) and how the school had to fill out some paperwork to prove their free and reduced lunch percentages. Both the school I work at now and the one I'm working at next year have been Title I basically since they opened, so I never had to actually do any work to get the discount. You could probably contact your local Varsity rep and they could get you better information than me, but even if it's a little work to get going it is completely worth every second, I've saved thousands through that discount, and it makes Varsity very affordable (especially the no shipping part).
