We've never been to summit and our kids are going on a Paid Bid. But does anyone know of the followimg:

1. For the celebration party on sunday. Do parents need to purchase a wristband if the girls already have one with their paid bid?

2. If practice on friday is at ESPN will parents need to pay an entrance fee for just the practice day?

Parents will need to buy a wristband for the party . Check with your gym about Friday practice. Some don't allow parents to go to ESPN Friday practice. If they allow it, you will probably have to pay entrance. If you purchased parent hopper passes, this should include your entrance.

You do have to pay to get into espn. Usually we will sit in the grass around the globe and hang out and wait for our kids. There is nothing inside espn worth paying for if you can avoid it.

my understanding according to our friends that went to uca is that the admissions area is now where the globe is...so I’m not sure there is any area to hang out admission free anymore.

No that’s not correct. There is an entrance closer to the parking lot now but that’s strictly for the new arena. Admissions is in the same spot as always. We were just there as well :)

Actually for the celebration party if you are staying on property, it is included in the parent ticket as well according to the summit travel pack info. So it depends on where you are staying.

We found a much cheaper fare flying into Tampa. We are staying st the All-Star Sports Resort. Has anyone done this and if so, how did you get from the Tampa airport to WDW? I thought about renting a car from the Tampa airport to the Orlando airport and then taking the Disney shuttle which is about $30. I will have to do the same coming back. I heard that you can rent a car from Alamo to the Disney Car Center which then has a shuttle to the resorts for $20. Any suggestions?

We have done this several times if the cost is considerably cheaper. Most times we rented a car but one time we took a shuttle from Tampa to orlando airport and then the wdw shuttle from there. Lots of steps but in the end it was still cheaper then flying into orlando.
Tried to find the company we used. Might have been this one Shuttle from Tampa to Orlando Airport | Tampa to Orlando Shuttle

Ticket questions...
So last year we did the whole park hopper thing but honestly this year not doing it cause we barely had time to go and it was exhausting trying to squeeze in park time between performances etc, way too much work. Hopefully CP will find someone to go with and use up her 3 day hopper. My other option as a florida resident (long story) I can purchase directly with disney a 3 day no hopper pass for $150 but DH and son prefer universal which is $200 for 2 day 2 park w/hopper as a florida resident also... my thing is i don't know how much the espn entrance is and i've looked everywhere and can't find it and apparently online summit sales ended april 23 ugh frustrating.
Does anyone know how much is just espn for the 3 days friday/sat/sunday and if I can just purchase at espn? I fly in wednesday afternoon so most likely if possible going straight to ESPN to get those tickets and figuring out what to do about disney and/universal

It's $40/day and you can get the tickets at ESPN.

ETA: Correction, it's $35/day. 40 is for Worlds.
