If there is any teasing at all...they need to allow fake ponies. I am tired of the fake pony look, but I will not allow my Cp to damage her hair by teasing it.
I think our gym will be doing something else next year. Just grateful she is senior aged and I won’t have to do whatever it will be! Hate braids!

We use hair pieces but not the posh pony types. They're only 14 inches and color matched. It makes doing cheer hair super easy.

There is a huge difference between fake ponys and hair so big on a little one that they look like they are going to topple over any minute from the weight of it. I guess my cp is just lucky. She’s teased her hair over the years as needed but she’s escaped with minimal damage.

OMG When the hair is 10 inches above the bow and it looks fake, that is a problem.. it looks so bad on and off the floor... it really is not an attractive look. Even the "fake" all the same hair looks weird and fluffy in a way.. it all looks weird. AND then the blondes get "extra fake blond" rats nest pony's and they they look even worse... Cheer hair needs to stop.

I agree with the simpler pony tails and getting rid of the posh pony's but I just can't get into the braids look. It just doesn't look like cheer hair to me without the bow. I also disliked the hairstyle that is a pony with the metallic band, looks like a genie hairstyle rather than cheerleader lol

I like the simpler styles, but agree about that metal band. If there's a ponytail I think it looks best with a bow, and the hair doesn't have to be teased to high heaven above the bow.

I would do without the "cheer express" on the hip, as I feel like the detail gets lost on the floor.
