I thought STUNT was a strictly all-girl sport?
Why did the OSU athletes move from T&S? Haven't they always had a tight relationship? I thought Genesis in like 2012/2013 was basically OSU LC right?

I think it was when their old coach also coached at T&S.

Saw on twitter that Stingrays had 230 athletes tryout for worlds. I'm guessing Cheer Athletics has similar numbers, if not more. Thinking about the large all girl division... it makes you appreciate the staffs what WC, Twisters and CEA are able to accomplish year after year. Stingrays / CA should dominate every year with those numbers, like panthers did this year.

Anyone know how many they had last year? This seems to be enough to add two or three small teams or two small and an international all girl 5 to the teams they had last season. lol can't wait to see what they end up doing with all the talent.

I think Rays had about the same amount of Worlds athletes that tried out last year? I’m not 100% on this. People have to remember that not all athletes that try out at their Worlds tryout will make a Worlds team, a lot of them will also end up on their restricted 5 teams as well.

The difference between Rays Marrieta and CA Plano(at least last season) is that Rays has more Senior-aged Worlds athletes tryout, where else it seems CA had more open-aged Worlds athletes tryout.

Rays fielded teams in the 4 largest (in terms of team sizes) Worlds senior divisions last year, and they were all maxed out, so 136 athletes excluding reserve athletes, Electric and Rust. CA fielded 5(?) open Worlds teams last season, that’s 120 athletes excluding their reserves, Panthers and Cheetahs. Of course with the way the age grids are in place, there might have been a few senior-eligible athletes on some of these CA open teams (just maybe).

Yes stunt is all girl. When I said that I meant only the girls since they make
Up the majority of small coed. And yes they did genesis until 2016 I think? I’m not sure what happened between T&S and OSU. All I know is that they moved to SOCO this year and will be with them in the future most likely.
