After 4.5 years at my current position, I've taken a new job at an international law firm in their Charlotte office! I'm so happy/scared/sad/excited all at the same time. I'm so sad to leave where I am but the time is right. Nothing was ever accomplished without a little bit of risk taking!
Congrats! Many years ago after working as an engineer for seven years, I stepped out on faith and enrolled in law school full-time. No regrets then and no regrets now :)

That's amazing! I work in legal marketing (I'll be doing Business Development in the new position) so I'm just support staff, but I've thrown around the idea of law school a few times. Unfortunately the one law school in town here was shuttered last year (it was a long and ugly process) so it would mean a move which right now isn't in the cards. Never say never though! I currently work for the local Bar and some of our best and most active members went to law school later in life.

Look into a masters program in Legal Studies! There are actually a lot that are 100% online based. If you get your MLS, it's basically the same coursework as a JD program, but you don't take the bar and you can't practice law. Once I finish my MBA, that's my next venture, because I love the legal field, but don't have any desire to actually be a practicing lawyer, instead, be involved in the legal field in a different capacity.

Does anyone know what team used signs that turned into a tube, or any prop really that turned into a tube? I feel like I have seen a high school team do it, and possibly TGLC but I'm struggling big time to find a video.

Does anyone have any experience with GoPros and cheer/editing the video on a chromebook? I'm looking at getting one if I get a coaching gig.

Did you ever get a response? I don't have experience editing video on a chromebook, but a chromebook is a low powered laptop and GoPros take ultra high def videos, especially if you have the frame rate set really high. I would imagine you'll have a bad time if you try. (Is there even video editing software available for a chrome book? It doesn't run a real OS I thought)

Def are correct that the chromebook would suffer from editing gopro footage. I think there are some editing tools in their app store, but nothing like an iMovie or Final Cut or AfterEffects to really dive into edits with and be able to work easily on.

My old macbook pro (2011) suffers to run iMovie more and more that video definition is increased (iphone and gopro)

I didn't get a response but I did purchase the GoPro to use with the apps on my phone, and so far its working. I didn't know that was an option and I'm really glad it is because my chromebook is basically useless, but I can't justify replacing it because all I really use it for is sending emails, using google slides/docs/sheets, and watching netflix.

Guess what took place yesterday? The Worlds Ugliest Dog competition. Thank you Sonoma-Marin County Fair in Petaluma CA for bringing so much joy to my life. [emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️

I'm over this cast and I've only had it for 9 days. It's not even a full cast. No I get that on Wednesday. Idk for how long. *sigh*

Anybody have any good reccomendations for restaurants/bars in Indy? Here for the week for work

So relieved England just moved onto quarter-finals! The stress of the PKs almost sent me into labor, but definitely worth it, and my husband and I may or may not be considering changing the middle name of our to-be son to Kane........:shrugs:

I know how you feel, I felt equally nervous while watching the Croatia : Denmark game and the nerve-shredding penalty shootouts.
