hi!

Looking for a video of a braced high to high flipping pyramid. I remember seeing a team do it but I can’t seem to find the original video I had

Any help would be great.

We are looking for the most efficient way for the posts to hold the girl flipping. The bases pop high enough but it seems that she isn’t able to stay UP for the bases to catch her at the top as the posts are slipping grips slightly

We grip in a different way but heres how this school does theirs. We have the flyer hit a T and have one hand on wrist and one in the armpit with the outside preps facing in to the corner to be able to get underneath it. Then we pop and they straighten their arms straight above their heads and let it rotate over the top and then regrip as the flyer is spotting the hands of the bases and rolling up.
The midlayers have to have fast hands because they have to let the arm roll over and slide their hands to the other side in the split second where she rolls over at the top of the toss when the weight leaves their hands. It's all about timing.

Thank you! I know exactly what you’re talking about. I’m not sure how that team on the video does it that way but hoping the armpit T works!

I think armpit T is better for most people. I’m assuming that flyer has a tuck that’s really consistent and doesn’t need much help rolling over. My flyer had no tumbling and needing a little more assistance lol
