Thought I'd see a slew of comments about these this morning.

Really really not a fan of these , the color just isnt good looking at all. Looks like it used to be dark blue and then lost its colors and became a really bright blue.

Not feeling Cali uniform....color is strange, why the headpiece, why the short weird sleeves..why are uniforms such a contest of crazy ideas/ designs?

I am tired of “themes”, bling, cutouts and cost for everything! Just give me a uniform from 10 years ago....,simple and athletic.

I think the kids (in general, not just on this team) really enjoy having uniforms that are different, unique, out-there. I’m sure there are exceptions but that’s how my teen is and I’m sure she’s not alone. She couldn’t wait to get on a team that didn’t wear the program uniform. And kids generally aren’t the most practical about things like bra straps and comfort...until they have to compete in it all day, lol. So I’m torn...as a mom I’d love a good, functional uniform. My cp? The flashier, more interesting, the better. It’s her sport, not mine so I don’t really think this is the hill I die on.

Based on what I know about other gyms uniforms cost it was right in line with what other gyms are paying, maybe even a bit less.

Fair enough. But that is still a crazy amount compared to what a lot of programs I’m familiar with here pay. I also always convert the USD to CDN and I know that if we ask parents for that amount they’d laugh us out of business

That is fine as long as it can last for a few years and is not so thematic that needs replacement the next year $$

What kind of numbers are we talking about here? I paid $400 last year for CP's Uni. They are using it again this year. Is this low, average or high?

My area of Canada, that's high. Our Worlds teams are paying a bit less than that, and we keep uniforms for 2 years. Some athletes will buy used if they can, or rent/borrow from a previous year athlete during the second year block. Lower levels and program units are much cheaper than that

I don't like it, but it is an improvement on the full body stocking, "nude" mesh covered in rhinestones look... I guess.
